"LuNA," corrected the black cat in the shadows.
"You said something about how I ain't acting like no princess," said Usagi.
"Case in point," said Luna. "Do they not teach grammar in schools anymore?"
"So princesses got these maids and such, right?" said Usagi. "Ta da."
Luna glanced over at the buxom yoma in the schooldress as she tidied up. "An attendant?"
"Sorta. Ya gotta admit that as a monster she really really sucked," said Ranma.
"Well," said Luna, grudgingly admitting that the girl had a point there. "I still don't understand. Sailor Jupiter was the accomplished warrior, but she was taller and not so flat... I mean not so slender."
Usagi glared at the cat, knowing what the comment had been but letting it pass for now. "Besides. I got some ideas for some training that might be effective."
"Oh and she's going to stay here," said Luna. "How are you even going to get her registered for school?"
"Not a problem," said Usagi. "Because you're an advisor, right?"
"Yeah," said Luna, hanging her head. Knowing what was coming.
"So advise me on it," said Usagi, smiling at the box Luna was hiding behind.
Near the end of World War II, many plans had been put into operation. At that time, "gaijin" was still synonomous with "oni" and the coming of the foreign devils had been reason to try and hide things.
Women and noncombatants would leap from cliffs or fall on swords rather than let the foreign devils claim them. Surrender was unthinkable in that mindset.
The bunker had been built prior to World War II, but it had largely collapsed or been built when the tides of battle had turned at Midway. When it looked like invasion was imminent, the bunker had been restored and a few exits and entries put together in clever fashion. Running battles could be staged, and retreat to a fortified area.
The invasion had never come.
After the unthinkable surrender occurred, things settled down. The JSDF eventually found the records of the place, noted the tunnels connecting it to the rail system, and scratched their heads trying to find a use for it.
Officially it was listed as Emergency Storage Facility #47 and the main thing stored in there were now-antiquated machine parts. If one actually knew what one was doing, it was quite possible to put together seven jeeps and two troop transports from the time of the Korean War. There was also, stored there by a thief who had long since perished a cold and lonely death, a vehicle stolen from a collector and long believed chopped up for parts. It sat forlornly under its shroud, getting a cursory glance from a mooncat but otherwise ignored.
The tiara in the original timeline had been part of a costume. There had been no Sailor Moon, it had just been a costume for a masquerade. They had had a lot of those in the Silver Millenium.
Since nobody was telling her that the magic didn't work that way, she was going ahead and adding to her arsenal by adding little things like weapons to her arsenal.
Ranma Saotome had been reborn in this reset of the virtual world as Usagi Tsukino. Due to circumstances he didn't understand, he remembered his life to this point and also remembered growing up as Usagi Tsukino. So it was odd that he was doing something in one life that he was supposed to have done in another.
"The Anything Goes martial arts dojo is open for business," declared Usagi.
"That's good, right?" Sayuri asked Luna.
"No good can come of this," replied Luna.
"Oh," said Sayuri. "So I shouldn't learn to fight? Good. I don't like fighting."
Luna stared, her jaw briefly resting on the floor. "No-" But she was going to be defending the Senshi. "Yes-" But she was a YOMA. "No-" But if Usagi went into danger and was counting on backup from this yoma. "Yes- No- But-"
"Sayuri, come over here. We're going to start on blocks," said Usagi, trying not to look at the twitching cat.
Sayuri shrugged. She hoped the cat was better at forging records than she was at giving answers.
