Soun & Genma's Spellbook: Amalgam [Episode 148313]

by Kestral

The woman looked around her at the various assembled people, and if one didn't care about grammatical correctness - one could describe that look as looking smirkily.

"You might as well surrender now, you can't beat me," said the woman.

"Oh yeah? Space Sword Blaster!" replied Sailor Uranus.

The beam struck the woman directly between her breasts. Her smile didn't budge. "Is that the best you can do? I expected more."

"Who are you?" asked Sailor Moon, a little nervous at the appearance of this girl. Especially as she'd seen the woman's face before. In the mirror.

"I am Amalgam," said the woman. "You can call me Queen."

Mercury tapped an earring, sending her visor down into place.

"No, my pet, I don't think so," said Amalgam, pointing a finger. "Pain."

Mercury cried out, dropping to the floor and convulsing.

"STOP IT!" yelled Jupiter, rushing forward in a position to spin kick.

Amalgam dodged, moving quickly and fluidly.

"Uranus! She moves like you do!" realized Neptune on seeing that.

"Of course, my dears, I AM you," said Amalgam, blocking another attack by Jupiter almost contemptously and holding onto the extended arm. "As you weaken, I strengthen. I am the dark sides of your nature that you deny or control. I am your inner demons set free."

Jupiter dropped to her knees, looking like she would faint.

"Hmmmmm," hmmmed Amalgam, releasing her victim. "I think it suits my purposes better if I retreat for now. You shall all weaken, I will grow ever stronger. When next we meet, I shall give you the option of continued life as my pets."

"Mercury-san! Jupiter-san!" Sailor Moon looked over the two fallen Senshi. "For hurting them, I cannot forgive you!"

"Oh?" asked Amalgam, stopping with her hand raised. "What exactly do you think you can do about it?"

Sailor Moon took a deep breath. "Everyone!" She raised a hand and opened it, revealing a single gemstone glowing with power.

"N-no, don't," gasped Sailor Mercury from the floor.

Sailor Moon was determined not to let this menace go running around destroying lives. She had a chance to stop the menace here and now before the usual pattern established itself. She called out her attack phrase and sent a beam of raw power at her target, even as the other Senshi had glows and their totem-markings appear on the foreheads as they channelled energy to Sailor Moon.

It was immediately obvious that something was wrong as Amalgam spread her arms and let the beam strike her.

Sailor Moon noticed the villain was still standing and sent as much power as she could pouring out in a destructive wave. Just the corona effects started tearing the Tendo home up around them, creating a whirlwind effect.

Long moments stretched out and finally Sailor Moon dropped to her knees, exhausted.

"Delicious," said Amalgam, stepping closer. "Now that I have the power of all of... Where is Sailor Saturn?"

The exhausted and drained Senshi began looking around at the devastated ruin of the house. Mercury was still convulsing, though slower now. Jupiter lay limp nearby. Most of the Senshi were either down or barely managing to stand upright. Yet of Sailor Saturn there was no sign.

"This changes everything," said Amalgam, frowning. "Until I have Saturn's essence, I will not be complete. We will meet again, my pets, and I will claim you body and soul when that happens."

"KYAAAAAAAA!" said a sixteen year old girl with purple eyes. One minute a fat man had thrown her towards a cauldron, the next she was here. And what a here it was! And why was she older and... "Kyaaaa. I've got curves."

"So," said a girl with a pageboy haircut, forcing her eyes from a nearby display of carnal prowess, "want to tell me your story and maybe what the heck is going on that you got thrown here?"
