But even her ability to hold fast to her own ideas were nothing when faced with the enormity of what she'd done. She had gotten rid of every guy, from that idiot Kuno, to her own father. About the only guy who seemed to have managed to miss it was Ranma, and he seemed to be taking being the last guy on Earth rather badly. Those around her knew what she'd done, and were clearly not pleased with her, including her elder sisters, neither of whom had really shown anger before.
And now she had found out that she had done all this with something that was going to suck up her soul once it had 'used her up'. What that latter part meant was something that she didn't know, but she was certain that it would be bad. In fact, she was certain that she was more worried about what 'used up' was about than she was about losing her soul. At least with sucking up her spirit, she'd know what it was planning, but the other part was rather vague, and she had a feeling that she didn't want to know the details. In fact, the Ring was just so nasty that it had taken her momentary wish and done all this.
So, in a bit of guilt, and a whole of fear, she held up the Ring. "Then does someone want to take this thing off my hands?"
"You're offering it to us, child?" Cologne asked with a raised brow.
"I'm giving it away. Anyone who wants it can take it, if they want it."
"Which basically amounts to the same thing, but who's counting?"
"But who would want that thing?" Nabiki muttered. "Look at what we know of it already."
"True. And that would make it rather difficult to get rid of."
"Try 'impossible'. You couldn't pay any of us enough to want that thing. Or do you not expect that, Akane?"
"I know what this thing is too, and that no one would really want to keep it. It caused all this, didn't it?"
"That point is... debatable."
"Huh?"
"Be that as it may, I'm certain that few would want it if they knew what cost it would extract from them," the Amazon Elder informed them.
"Nothing about this was nice," Kasumi quietly murmured.
"Exactly. So, what will you do with no one to take it off your hands."
"Well, I am not about to use it," Akane scoffed, tossing the Ring to her desk, making it bounce on the wood before coming to a stop, while:
