"Okay," said Ranma, "this ain't gonna be a wish, is it?"

"No," said Akane. "I don't think so. Just be careful to use my exact words."

"Waitaminute," said Nabiki, "can I have that lamp first?"

"Akane Tendo, my love!" sounded a voice from the front yard.

"Hurry up!" Just the thought of what Kuno might do while she was enslaved to a lamp was enough to make Akane nauseous. My goodness, look at all the darkness on Nabiki's soul!

Ranma bit the bullet. "Akane- I order you to change your prison into something that I can keep on my person and not lose you or have you stolen away by people like Happosai or Kuno!"

"DONE!" Akane said as she felt power roll through her person. Not as much power as a wish would have done, but she could take the power and...

Akane felt the control slip from her grasp and her lamp vanish. Instead an elaborate swirling blue tattoo formed on Ranma's left forearm with several openings. One of which filled in with the kanji for her name.

Akane stood there, stunned for a moment, as the scent and feel and warmth of Ranma suffused her entire being, as the feel of his pulse echoed within her. "Uhm- okay. That wasn't how I expected it to happen."

"AKANE!" Kuno practically leapt from the backyard towards her, ready to glomp her, apparently driven even further nuts than normal from her outfit.
