Fullmetal World: STILL Heading for Lior [Episode 149211]

by Proteus

“It was hot. It was the kind of hot that boiled water and cooked eggs on a sidewalk, multiplied a hundred fold. It was the kind of hot that it-”

“MADE REALLY ANNOYING WOMEN GIVE THESE REALLY STUPID NARRATIONS!” Ed shouted at the top of his lungs before turning back on Brianna. “We know it’s hot, so shut up already!”

“Guys?” a young voice called out from behind them.

Brianna looked down to the short boy in front of her as she errr-glistened under the raging sun. “That was out loud?” she asked in a dazed voice as she wobbled back and forth in the fight for consciousness. “The heat must really be getting to me.”

“Uh, hello, little help here?”

“Of course it’s getting to you!” Ed shouted as they continued along. Despite the fact that they were arguing, neither of them was stupid enough to let it stop their trek across the desert. “You walk around in a place like this dressed in a rubber suit and you’re expecting what? FROSTBITE?”

“It’s not rubber,” Brianna shouted back before getting right in Ed’s face and giving him the exact chemical breakdown of the material that the author has no idea how to explain; so let’s just leave it at that. Although, the chimera supposed that Ed might have a point about the heat. Standing back to her full height, the girl reached up to the top of her suit and pressed the alchemical symbol located right on the inside so she could activate it. A second later the half-werecheetah unzipped a newly formed zipper in her suit to let out a cloud of steam and reveal her sweat soaked chest and bra.

“GAH!” Ed jumped back from the stripping chimera so he could raise one hand to cover her innocent flash before glaring at her. “What the hell do you think you’re doing?”

Brianna frowned, and performed two more transmutations to make the sleeves of her suit into long gloves so she could take them off. “I’m hot. So I’m making a few adjustments to my clothes. Excuse me for actually following your advice for once!”

Taking exceptional care to reach back up and grab Brianna by her shoulders while avoiding at looking at anything he shouldn’t have, Edward pulled the much taller girl back down to his height. “I never said anything like that! If you’re hot then… then drink some water or something.”

The girl just rolled her eyes and reached back to grab a canteen with alchemical symbols relating to water that was hanging from her best. “We ran out of water, remember?”

Growing more annoyed, Ed grabbed the canteen and waved it in front of her. “I thought you said you could gather the moisture in the air, remember?”

“Oh great idea,” she said before backing off and looking around in front of her. “Hmm, nope.” Then she turned around and looked a bit. “Nope.” Finally, she looked up into the sky to see no clouds. “News flash Ed. THERE IS NO MOISTURE IN THIS AIR!” Brianna shouted before waving her arms around turning a bit to point out the entire landscape.

The whole sight of a half naked girl swinging her chest around in a bra that was almost transparent made Edward have to pinch his nose to stop a trickle of blood. One thing he would never get used to was the way Brianna seemed to have almost no problems giving free looks to anyone who was with her long enough. “Would you please stop doing that?” He didn’t ask for his own sake of course, but Al was probably… Hey, wait a second.

“Al?” Ed called out. “Hey Alphonse, where’d you go?”

“Huh?” Brianna mumbled as she zipped her shirt up enough to cover her bra and still let enough air touch her skin to be slightly cooler. Reaching up, Brianna sealed her suit up to the point where her zipper was, then transmuted her sleeves and gloves back on so the sleeves just looked rolled up while the gloves were missing. “What the?” she said to herself as she noticed one of their party was now missing.

Where the heck had the boy run off to? Ed looked around the place and saw the tracks his brother had left looked more like a trail of something dragged through the sand. “Come on Al this isn’t-” Ed cut himself off with a scream when he felt something grab his leg and pull.

A few minutes later…

“You so scream like a girl,” Brianna giggled as she looked at Ed.

The older Elric glared as he looked back at the chimera. “Oh shut up!” She didn’t stop laughing, but with Brianna dealt with, Edward turned his attention back to his little brother that was standing on a large platform of rock. Because of the insane weight of the armor Ed had to transmute a stone pillar to raise him out of the ground. “And what the heck were you doing down there?”

“I got full,” Al replied innocently while Brianna continued to laugh at his older brother.

“FULL OF WHAT?” Edward yelled as he kicked his brother’s leg in irritation, causing the straps holding Al’s chest plate to come undone and let a few pounds of sand fall on top of Edward, completely covering the short alchemist. This scene of course made Brianna loose all control of her laugher, and Alphonse quickly joined her.

But their merriment was cut short by the sound of Ed’s hands clapping together an instant before the pile was blown away to reveal a very angry alchemist. “When I get my hands on you,” he growled.

Brianna gulped nervously before trying to do something to change the course of the conversation and saw something on the horizon and pointed to it. “Oh look guys, were almost to Lior.”

“I’M NOT FALLING FOR THAT! JUST HOW STUPID DO YOU THINK I AM?” Ed shouted as Brianna pointed to something behind him in an obvious attempt to make him drop his guard. “AND THAT’S A RETORICAL QUESTION!” A second later he clapped his hands together once again to transmute his usual blade from his auto-mail arm. “Now come here.”

The girl looked over to Alphonse with a nervous grin. “This is the part where we run, right?”

“We? Don’t be dragging me down with you,” Alphonse replied with his hands up in front of his face.

“Well in that case,” Brianna mumbled to herself before putting on a bright smile and throwing the two suitcases she was carrying on top of Alphonse and taking off towards the city with Ed right behind her and murder in his eyes. “Thanks for the hand Al, you’re a much bigger man than your short tempered, vertically challenged, pipsqueak of a brother.”

“GAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!” Ed replied as he went after Brianna.

With his two traveling companions leaving him in the dust, Alphonse just picked up Brianna’s luggage and sighed. Not that he needed to, not needing to breath and all, so it really wasn’t a sigh, but if he started on that train of thought of wondering how he could sigh, gasp, talk, and do all of that other stuff people needed to breath to do, Al would probably end up driving himself nuts in a month. With his brother half-insane with anger already from his apprentice, one of the brothers needed to keep a good head on his shoulders.

Or helmet… whatever.
