"See, Mom, this cat asked me to sing for her and then she fell out of the window, and I'm going to look for her," Usagi replied, opting for the truth.
"I see. Have fun, Dear," Ikuko told her, before shaking a finger at her sternly, "and don't torture small animals anymore!"
There was nothing the blonde girl could say in return. Whether driven by nostalgia or homicidal intent -- having long since drained away -- she had been responsible for poor Luna dropping two stories into a thorny bush. Said bush was infamous for giving cats full-body rashes, too. She honestly couldn't say that things looked good for Luna.
"Are you alright, Kitty?" Usagi asked, getting a pained mewl in return as she tried to extract Luna from the bush.
Ah, if only she could use her powers for good!
