"No way," a muffled response came through the closed doorway.
Luna sighed. "Please come out?" she tried, tilting her head to the side even though Usagi couldn't see her.
"Monsters are scary!"
Luna gave in to her primal urges and banged her head against the floor several times. "You're supposed to save their immortal if corrupted souls, being a champion of love and justice," she began ranting through the ringing in her ears. "If you won't help, who will? And if not now, then when?"
"I don't wanna help monsters," Usagi whined back. "Make them go away!"
"Oh!" Luna exclaimed, putting a paw across her eyes dramatically. "The beautiful heroine of legend, unwilling to help a monster in need. Not even interested in saving a red-headed young girl in a school uniform much like her own by purifying the monster." She shook her head pitifully. "Ah, 'tis a tale of woe! Denied her angelic voice due to a viscious curse, Usagi now lacks the basic human compassion to--"
"Enough halready," Usagi cut Luna off, stomping on the cat's head as she finally left the closet's safety. "Geez, don't you ever shut up? And really, the whole singing thing is a sensitive subject with me, so why do you have to keep bringing it up all the time?!"
Luna groaned from her prone position, pinned to the floor.
