Then, in a swirl of "ecchi" images, he reached the Nekohanten and walked inside.
The first thing he noticed was the girl slumped over the table, head rested, face-down, on crossed arms and snoring softly. He could tell from the breathing that she was either getting sick, or recovering from being sick, but still in the status of pretty badly off.
"Sheesh, what's she doing out of bed," Ranma asked.
"Ah, Son-in-law," Cologne said coming to his side. "I see you've noticed my new daughter-in-law."
"Huh? What?" Ranma said. "You mean she?"
"Yes, my granddaughter offered Kodachi the kiss of marriage and then consummated it," Cologne said. Then she frowned. "What she was thinking doing that with the girl in this condition is beyond me."
"Is she going to be okay?" Ranma asked. "...consummated?..." that was one of the words often used in Nabiki's comics.
"Yes, your other future wife will be just fine," Cologne said. "She was eating some soup and fell asleep is all. I'll wake her up in a bit and send her back to bed."
Kodachi wouldn't have been there except that Cologne had stopped by to speak to her new daughter-in-law and found Kuno trying to pressure her into her normal training routine as "she shouldn't let a minor little cough slow down her training." Since Kodachi wasn't thinking completely clearly still, she had been in the half-awake process of getting ready to train when Cologne arrived.
"Err," Ranma said. "She's engaged to Shampoo too?"
"No son in law," Cologne said. "Kodachi is MARRIED to Shampoo...they CONSUMMATED the kiss."
"That means," he hesitated and gestured with his hands.
"I understand it was very tame considering Kodachi's condition," Cologne said. "But yes they had sex." Colgone was treated to the sight of Ranma's nose breaking into a bleed following by the pig-tailed boy collapsing in a faint.
The impact startled Kodachi awake.
"Shampoo-sama? ranma-sama?" Kodachi asked wearily. Cologne was quickly by her side.
"Shampoo is not here just yet, daughter-in-law," Cologne said. "Perhaps you should go back to bed?"
"Hai, Obaasama," Kodachi nodded standing up and yawning as she climbed the door back to bed. Cologne watched the girl go and smiled at the dutiful daughter-in-law she now had (and wondered if that trait would last past her illness) and judged that she would be much better the next day, especially under proper care. Then she turned, with a chuckle to look at Ranma's unconscious form.
