Lamp Of Mihoshi - Gonyoo:: Exchanging Curses [Episode 151605]

by Kender

It was a familiar feeling to Genma, to the point that he was almost accepting of what happened to him. There were so many times that he'd had water tossed in his face, been hit into sources of water, got stuck in rainstorms, and wound up under dumping water, among other things, that he was able to see how it could happen. That didn't mean that it still didn't annoy him royally, but he was aware that it seemed that the curse would pull him and water together in any way that it could.

As the water closed in over his head, he expected the familiar transformation into a panda. He'd get a whole lot bigger and furrier, which he was quite used to by now. At least it was reasonably good that he had gotten a form that could actually do things, since he didn't think that he could enjoy being something weak like a cat or a piglet.

But what he felt was definitely not the usual 'panda' transformation. His body did shift, but he was aware of the fact that it wasn't in the same way that it had before. While his chest grew, his waist narrowed, and his legs changed their shape. And as he looked at his hands, he could tell that while they were smaller and differently formed, they were still human.

Feeling his body moving differently than it had, he reached down and cupped what was now on his chest. Squeezing allowed him to immediately recognize what it was, as any fool could tell that she had breasts, and she nearly chortled with glee at what had happened.

Then she realized that she was under water, and letting her breath go could be a bad thing without any sort of artificial respiration devices. So, she quickly swam up, and stuck her head above the water line, taking a great gasping breath of air before swimming for the shore. Once there, she dragged herself onto dry land, doing so rather awkwardly for a martial artist of her caliber.

She didn't care though, as she stood up and cheered. "No more panda!"

Everyone there stared at her, and seemed to be asking the same question.

"Oh, come on now! At least I'm human now!"

"That's rather questionable," Ukyo muttered.

"What?"

"There's somethin' that we have ta check," Ranma said, with a flat stare at his father. "Kasumi?"

The named girl held out the kettle that she'd somehow managed to heat at that moment. "Here you go, Ranma."

"Thanks. Pop?"

"What are you...." Genma said, and then trailed off as understanding reached her. "Oh, right! Let's see how the curse is. Don't want any problems...."

"You always have problems."

"What was that?"

"Nothin' that ya'd care 'bout. Now, can we get this goin'?"

"Of course. Let's see what happens."

In a desire to get it over and done with, Ranma tossed the water right into the newly transformed Saotome's face.

"Stupid boy! Why did you do that for?!"

"It worked, didn't it?"

"What are you...."

"I'm male! I'm me again!"

"For all that's worth."

"Then this will mean that...."

Cologne gave him a look that said that she'd think him an idiot for asking what was already quite obvious. "I'd say that the most likely answer will be true."

"But there is only one way to test it."

"Oh?"

"And I've got to do it right now. Out of my way...." Genma declared as he somehow found a container of water on the bus. Splashing himself, he looked down and saw what he already knew. Rather, she knew it, as she was back to being a girl. "I'm cured of the panda curse!"

"But now you have a girl curse," Ukyo observed.

"So what? I'm certain that I can handle it."

"Can you now?"

"Certainly. If so many women can handle being that gender, then what trouble could I have?"

"Plenty."

"Yeah right. If you think so. But I know that I can handle it just fine. It'll be easy to be a girl."

Ranma backed away from the girls, who were glaring at his father, while:
