Then she took those readings and recordings to a meeting with her friends.
The result was...
"HELLOOOOO SOLDIER!"
"I take it you like the way the uniform fits," said Ami.
"I like," said Minako, eyes glued to the screen in a manner that suggested every line and curve was being memorized.
"It shows off his... fitness very well," said Makoto, fanning herself.
Rei was inscrutable for a few moments. "So he's like a Western superhero? What kind of powers?"
"I was scanning as he left," said Ami. "His flight speed appears to reach a cruising velocity of roughly 800mph. His speed and strength have increased. According to this he should be able to lift around 25 tons. He's bulletproof to some extent and his endurance is likewise increased. Anything less than modern anti-tank weaponry would probably be unable to injure him. His resistance to magical attacks is entirely dependent on what is used."
"You think we may have to fight your brother?" asked Minako, catching that despite her apparently rapt attention directed towards the computer screen.
"I didn't detect any sort of taint on him indicating this was some sort of ploy," said Ami.
"I hear a 'but' coming," said Rei.
"Then again, our enemies apparently have been conflicting with other groups," pointed out Ami. "One of these other enemies might be behind this."
"So what kind of defenses do we have if we have to defend against him?" asked Rei.
"Cold and fire attacks will be nearly useless," said Ami. "It looks as if his uniform is of an unknown material but functions as some sort of spacesuit. Electrical attacks will work well. I think these readings mean that the helmet has radio scanning, light amplification, and energy filtering capabilities. Meaning he'll be able to see in the dark and get police broadcasts once he figures out how to turn it on."
"He can lift a bed?" asked Minako.
"Yes," said Ami, thinking Minako was taking a journey into the Hentai Zone.
"He can fly?" asked Minako.
"Yes," said Ami, wondering where this was going now.
"All right! We can all go to the beach whenever we want to this summer!" Minako pumped her fist. "We can all sit on a bed, he flies us out there. KaCHING! Volleyball at the beach, no train or bus tickets - more money for snacks!"
Ami hung her head at this conclusion.
"Oooooh," said Usagi, thinking this sounded good.
