"Like Sunfire?" said Ranma, pointing out that Japan had one.
"Yes," said Doctor Mizuno. "Okay. Ami, have I ever mentioned how glad I am that you don't go doing anything to make your poor mother worried?"
Ami had been sipping at some tea. She was now choking on her tea.
"You'd never do anything more dangerous than drinking tea, which appears to be more dangerous than I'd thought," indicated Ami's mother, looking a little concerned.
Ami really began choking now.
Ranma just stared at the ceiling as his mother began trying to administer to his ailing sister. This day was just turning out all sorts of odd.
"Still," said Doctor Mizuno, after Ami had finally stopped choking. "You'll be going out and helping people. Rescuing innocents and such. I just want to say one thing."
"Yes, mother?" asked Ranma.
"WAHHHHHH, I'M SO PROUD OF YOU! My little boy is a superhero!"
"Ahh," said Ranma, a little surprised by the tears. "Uhm. Thanks. I'll do my best."
"Agent A to Central, Agent A to Central. Followed sighting of target to Nerima district. Indication that target de-transformed and exited here. Trail lost. Instructions?"
Agents B, C, and D en route. Set up observation posts. Make contact in twelve hours."
The Agent of AIM closed the reception. Well, at least she was out of the office.
