Ami shook her head and cleaned up after herself. She was being silly. Of course her brother was her brother. So he'd have superpowers now. It wasn't like she couldn't see it coming.
So maybe he'd be wearing some ninja outfit and waiting for a chance to rescue her. It wasn't like this was such a novel concept. He'd come to her rescue over the years on a few occasions. She was standing alongside new friends now, but Ranma hadn't really changed at all - had he?
Another bleep from the computer indicated further developments, so Ami put aside cleaning up to check that.

The ringing of her doorbell had her closing her mother's door quickly and answering it, still mainly preoccupied by events and checking the screen to find that both her mother and Ranma were asleep.
Ami opened the door, finding that if she chose to keep these events secret from her friends - she had to start now:
