"Hey, if Ranma has any guy friends, then maybe we can invite them to have fun with us too!"
And then there were girls like Minako Aino, who tended to have certain... actions that would make things... interesting.
"Mina-chan, do you realize what that sounds like?" Rei asked.
"What's the problem? Inviting other guys means that we'd have more company, and be able to hopefully find a stud for a boyfriend like Mako-chan found to be her husband," the girl with the bow in her hair replied.
"But that's not what it sounded like."
"It didn't?"
Ami was blushing so hard that her entire face had turned a bright shade of pink. "It sounded like you were suggesting that we see if Ranma had any guy friends who'd want to.... You know...."
"Do perverted things to us," the shrine priestess finished.
"I...." Minako began, taking a moment to think. An expression of realization crossed over her features as she took on the same sort of color that Ami had. "Oh man...."
"Exactly."
"In any case," the cram school student sighed, "I doubt that Ranma's had much in the way of new friends. After all, he was on a trip with his father."
"Which means that we have to give him a warm welcome home. I don't want him to feel bad in any way," Makoto commented.
That got a nod from Usagi. "I think that's a great idea. So, let's go with what would be good for him. He likes food, company and relaxing, right?"
"Right. Maybe just having something to eat while we all catch up on what's been going on."
"You're sure about that, aren't?"
"Of course. Why wouldn't I be?"
"Simple. I know that if I were apart from Mamo-chan for some time, and got to be with him again, I'd want to have him all to myself for a long time," the reincarnated princess answered with a small smile.
"Usagi...."
"You don't have to push your time with him back, if you don't want to."
"No. That's alright. You all are our friends, and he'll be mine for the rest of our lives. And it'll be good to have you all there for us."
"Besides," Rei commented with a shrug. "Other than a few possible friends from school, the only ones that we'd be sure would come to a party would be us, Akane, Nabiki, Kasumi, and maybe the other Senshi."
"Hotaru does like Ranma, doesn't she?" Minako put in softly.
"Like a little sister does her big brother."
"Still, what are the chances that someone would come along who'd really mean anything to this?" As the former 'Sailor V' spoke, the doorbell rang. "Okay...."
"Looks like someone spoke a little too soon."
"Maybe. But it could be just someone winding through."
"That's 'breezing', Mina-chan. And maybe we should go and see who it is," Ami suggested.
"I'll do it. It's my apartment," Makoto reminded them, as she stepped over to the door and opened it. "Hello? May I....:
