"An excellent martial artist..." Julia muttered. She may have to look into that. After all, he may very well become family soon enough, and Julia wouldn't mind teaching another student.
"Good-looking, huh?" Britanny muttered. She couldn't help but smirk. The boy had to be good-looking. It just wouldn't do for Brianna to just go after ANY guy. He would have to be at least a bit of a looker to even catch Brianna's eyes.
Gina thoughts were along the same lines as Britanny's. However, where Gina was often for going for the good-looking guys, she'd rather he be worthy of her sister with not only looks, but with his actions.
"CLUELESS ABOUT WOMEN!?" Theo mentally screamed. The illuion of fire seemed to rise in intensity as he thought that. How could this boy expect to be able to take care of his daughter if he knew nothing about women!? Theo mentally vowed to have a serious 'talk' with Ranma.
"Overwhelmingly loyal..." Was the thought that went through Stryyp's mind. Stryyp could admire that. He himself was very loyal to his wife, Britanny. He would do anything he could for her. She was more important to him than life itself. He knew his wife deserved nothing more, and thought that is how this "Ranma' should be with Brianna.
So deep in thought were the Diggers, that they didn't notice as a Japanese woman with auburn hair in a violet kimono walked and carrying a wrapped bundle into the area. She walked past the Diggers, not even giving them a second look and walked up to the front desk. "Excuse me, do you know if a Ranma Saotome has checked into this hotel?" She asked the clerk.
The clerk looked over at the woman and nodded her head. "Why yes! Ranma Saotome is staying here! He even signed my autograph book" The clerk reached under teh desk and showed off her small book. She turned to a page with Ranma's script. "See?"
The woman smirked. "I see. I understand I will also have to get Ranma into aa course for his penmanship."
Genn, who wasn't in thought looked over at the woman. "Excuse me, but how do you know Ranma?" She asked nicely. Her punctuation on the word 'Ranma' was enough to bring the Diggers out of their thought and into consciousness their surroundings.
The woman smiled. "I am Nodoka Saotome. Ranma is my son." She answered. She noticed the others were staring at her with wide-eyes. (But then again, the Flaming skull was always staring with wide-eyes, since it had no eyelids). "Is something wrong?"
Julia was the first to gain her composure. "I guess you could consider us your in-laws." She said with a smirk.
"Oh?" Nodoka said, raising an eyebrow.
Clearing herthroat, Genn butted in. "Julia's daughter, Brianna, was the one to kiss your son and free him from the Sleeping Prince Curse. And I would know, as I was there with her."
Nodoka smiled. "Oh how wonderful."
Theo looked over at Nodoka, relaxing his aura, magic, and anger so that his head would go back to looking like a normal person's. "Tell us, how did you know your son might be here?"
Smiling, Nodoka answered, "I didn't really. When I went back to Nerima when I saw everything had gone back to normal, I was hoping to meet with my son and future daughter-in-law. But when I had gotten to the Dojo, my son was gone. So I just have travelled from hotel to hotel around the area, hoping I could find him."
Britanny smirked. "That sounds like what we did." Of course, with her Werecheetah speed, Britanny had managed to check out a lot of the hotels before hand.
Julia smiled as a sudden thought came to her. "So tell me, how would you describe your son."
A beaming smile then appeared on Nodoka's face. "Manly."
"Manly?" Gina repeated.
"Care to elaborate on that?" Julia aksed.
"Sure." Nodoka said. "My son is a very manly man. He has trained in the matial arts for over a decade and is an incredibly skilled warrior. He has the women throwing themselves at his feet so that they might enjoy a night where they might share a bed with him. And he has quite a nice body, very manly. I am sure that he will give me, many, many grandchildren." Nodoka however, did not seem to notice the sweat-drops amongst the Diggers as she went on and on about how manly her son was. However, Julia couldn't help but smirk at the idea of many, many grandchildren.
"This is very odd..." Genn thought morosely. "Well, it can't get worse."
When Nodoka was finally done, she said, "So tell me, what is the girl whom kissed my son like?"
Genn felt a sudden urge to run. Things might have just taken a turn for the worse.
