They both looked much nicer, washed clean and in clean clothes.
"They both look soo adorable..."
"Mmmmm."
Petunia Dursley sighed.
"Though little children can be such monsters, too..."
Petunia had served them tea. The cookies and cakes had conveniently come out of Setsuna's business suitcase.
"Oh, don't I know it. Even my dear Duddikins, when he was little...I just had no time to sleep at all. And now, when at last he's sleeping through the night..."
Petunia bit her lip.
"I...Just put Harry in the cupboard last night. I didn't want him anyplace near my Dudley, or...near me and Vernon's bedroom, and the only open room is the one right next to Duddikins room and it's full of junk and...I thought of moving me and Vernon's room to Dudley's, and putting Dudley in the corner room, but...How? I mean, I have to explain it too Vernon, and then I have to get movers probably because I can't think of how to move all that myself, and..."
Oh, ho, ho...This was one depressed woman, going around and around and around in circles...
Setsuna made sympathetic noises again--she was doing a lot of that, today--and watched Haruka pat Petunia on the hand.
"And then when I woke up, Vernon's here, like every morning since I got married, and I thought everything must had been a bad dream, and H-Harry was still with Lily and that idiot husband of hers...But it wasn't, of course. She's still dead. And so is he. And he's still here. Idiot."
Petunia was probably halfway talking to herself by now, but Setsuna decided not to interfere. The poor woman probably needed this.
"She goes off to that stupid school, gets more and more freakish every year, and then she ends up dead. What the hell, Lily..."
Petunia blinked, and swallowed, patting at her eyes.
"Oh...Where are my manners, now...I'm sorry..."
"Oh, it's quite all right, Mrs Dursley. I don't know what I'd do if I was in your position..."
"And that's what we need to discuss, Mrs Dursley. Oh, we should talk it over with Mr Dursley too, later on, but for now...I mean, Harry is your sister's child, after all."
"...Mmmmmmm."
