School Harem: Where we go from how we got here (LIME) [Episode 153666]

by Ranger of the Crossover Fiancees

For once, it hadn't been his fault.

Well, not completely his fault anyway.

At least not the first part, though what had come afterwards was probably his fault.

Ranma shook his head in irritation. He'd made his decisions and he would live with the consequences. Akane and the others had dumped this mess on him, but they hadn't forced him into sleeping with any of the many girls and women in the building around, above and below him, nor with the numerous others in the surrounding area.

He just liked sex. Probably too much for his own good. The foreplay, that look that the girls got in their eyes as he played with their bodies like a fine violin, teasing notes of need and building desire that made him feel like he was holding on to an intangible part of their very being. The act itself, some of the girls liked it soft and slow, others fast and sure and others made the act of intercourse into a fucking that rivaled any battle he'd ever fought in his life. But perhaps the most touching part (which he'd never admit to another living soul) was afterwards, holding his partner(s) close and being able to relax in the warmth that came from being close, warm and without the usual barriers erected around his inner self.

No, it wasn't just that he liked sex now, he wanted it, needed it with an urgency and regularity he would have never thought possible until he'd finally experienced it for the first time.

Of course, it could just be another one of the ways that their current Universe was trying to hold things together.

Belldandy had tried explaining it to him before their first time together, but he hadn't really understood most of it. Sub-Dimensional Quantum Astro-Overlay Physics sounded all Greek to him. But what he had managed to grasp seemed simple enough. Akane had gotten her hands on a device that granted wishes, a monkey's paw from a shop she should have known better then to have gone into. She'd made a stupid wish on it in a thoughtless moment of jealousy and anger that had been directed at Ranma and his 'harem'.

What she had had no way of knowing was that many others had been making wishes by other means at the same exact moment. Genma with an old oil lamp, Happosai and Hikaru Gosunkugi on faded old scrolls not meant for the eyes of men, Nodoka on a 50-yen fortune cookie paper strip and even Kasumi who'd met this nice polite stranger during her shopping at the market.

That would normally have been bad enough. But when you threw an Imperium Silver Crystal, The World Tree of Mahora Campus, The Ultimate Force, Multiple Time and Space Dimensional Devices, an Aho dimensional anomaly, Shikimori Kazuki's Ultimate Magic Force and Third Impact into it at the same time it was like having the last straw on the camel's back turning out to be an nuclear warhead.

The dimensional subspace buffers that normally contained each reality apart and separate from each other had for lack of a better word, breeched. Multiple time and space events crunched together into simultaneous existence that had shattered each of their individual realities and compressed them into the barely stable present that the survivors like himself had found themselves in just a few short weeks ago.

The girls had been the lucky ones. Most of them didn't know or remember anything before the dimensional collapse, those who did either ignored it to save themselves the headaches it would bring or accepted what had happened and moved on to making sure that this combination of people and places stayed intact. Because if this world failed to hold itself together, chances were that none of them were going to exist long enough to regret it.

Ranma wasn't sure if he was lucky or not. Yes, he'd awoken in this new reality with most of his old memories intact but he hadn't entered this world alone. There were traces of others in his mind and soul now, all that remained of the central characters of the other dimensions that hadn't survived the collapse and fusion. He was only Ranma Saotome because somehow his overbearing ego had managed to overwhelm and engulf the others, consuming them all so that his own personality remained dominant.

He'd felt guilty at first when he'd found out about it. He had in a sense effectively killed all those other men and boys so that he could live. Even though he hadn't known about it, in Ranma's mind that did not absolve him of the crime committed.

Then he'd slept with the first of the girls that his other selves had known and discovered that he really hadn't known the meaning of the word guilt until that moment. But even that wasn't enough to keep his pants on for long.

Did they desire him because a part of him was someone they'd loved or lusted after in their old realities? He didn't know. It was enough that they just did. He just couldn't let any of them go.

He would simply take things as he had always done, one day at a time.
