Luna's reaction was predictable. She'd originally thought Usagi was a Senshi, that Ami and Mamoru were yoma, and had been not only wrong but extremely wrong on a few occasions in the past.
"They must be disguising the dark taint so that the Mercury Computer can't detect it! You should purify them before they wake up!"
Artemis had also been wrong in the past, but he was approaching this from a different angle. "So your brother has a power up but still won't be able to fight yoma?"
The Senshi looked at him, wondering how he'd gotten this conclusion.
"When he fought that last yoma - he fought it physically, right?" asked Artemis, having been told of that unfortunate encounter. "If it had been a possessed human, he would have won. Instead it was an energy-drainer, so every time he made physical contact - it used that contact to drain energy. If Makoto does the same as Sailor Jupiter, she has a small measure of protection against that. It wouldn't help against an energy drain attack directly targetting her, but against a general drain like that it would work. Otherwise you wouldn't be able to fight yoma at all."
"Oh," said Makoto. "That makes sense. I always wondered why more people didn't fight back."
"Just being able to hit one would require a certain 'fighting spirit'," said Artemis. "Since his powers aren't magical, he isn't going to be able to put down a magical menace."
"Well, good, the very idea of non-Senshi getting involved," huffed Luna.
"I feel sorry for him," confided Artemis in a low voice. "I know what it's like to want to, no - need to help but not be able to."
Minako scooped Artemis up and gave him a hug. It just seemed the right thing to do.
"Naru-chan and your mother won't know what's going on," said Rei. "How about we let them stay ignorant? We just keep an eye on them and if they start figuring out they've got these abilities - then we tell them."
"Why even try to keep it a secret?" asked Usagi. Even to her it was obvious that this WASN'T going to stay secret.
"Because then we'd have to tell them HOW we know," said Rei.
"Oooh," said Usagi. "That could be bad."
"Hey, I didn't know you got cable," said Minako, having turned on the TV while petting Artemis.
"Turn on the sound," said Ami as she saw what was on the television.
"...people injured, more unaccounted for here at the Tokyo Tower. The police have been unable to slow or stop the suspect and are helpless!" The scene showed a trail of smoke from a shattered window on the Tokyo Tower.
"Ami, you stay here, this looks like we're needed," said Usagi. "Everyone?"
Various nods of assent and confident looks. They'd beat this yoma and get back right away.
Of course, they didn't immediately realize they were going to end up in a fight with:
