Naturally someone did BOTH. When the little monsters had nearly been killed off by a Japanese housewife, gaining a healthy respect for something that dangerous, they'd gone for someplace to hide and regain their numbers.
Tokyo Tower had an aquarium and fast food stalls, providing food AND water.
Now numbering fifty - the scaly little monsters had infested the Tower, crawling into all sorts of hideaways and places.
CRUNCH!
Okay, maybe the elevator shaft hadn't been a good idea. Now numbering forty-nine, they had tormented and driven off the big uglies and were ready to send scouting parties to nearby buildings.
Four of them were scarfing up these bean-jam filled fish-shaped biscuits and laughing themselves silly as they made a mess of the contents of the food booth.
"HOLD IT RIGHT THERE!"
Naturally they looked up, quailing in terror for a moment before discovering the interruption was not wearing an apron nor wielding sharp kitchen instruments.
"A fine day like this is not for monsters to be eating pastries! In the name of the moon," declared Sailor Moon, "I'll punish you!"
One of the gremlins walked over until he was a few feet from the posing girl, turned, bent over and-
BRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!
-released a foul cloud of bean byproduct.
"EWWWWWWWWWW!" said Sailor Moon, turning a little green with her eyes tearing up and crossing.
"Fire Soul!" declared Sailor Mars, throwing a flame at the monster.
FWOOOOOOOOOOM!
It would have worked a lot better if the cloud had not still been hanging in the air and if Sailor Moon had not been IN that cloud.
Slightly singed and still a little nauseous, Sailor Moon blinked a few times. "owie."
"Hahahahahahahahaha," laughed all four gremlins thinking this really amusing.
"Oh yeah, Jupiter Thunder Crash!"
"Crescent Beam!"
Two of the gremlins fell, looking quite surprised. One electrified and smoking, the other with a little hole through it.
The other two got crafty looks. One whistled.
Gremlins began popping up. From behind counters. From airshafts. From doorways, from trashcans, from floor panels.
"Uh oh," summed up Sailor Venus.
"Heh heh heh," said one gremlin, holding up an ice cream scoop and clicking it menacingly.
