Queen Usagi had commanded that Pluto go back and make a few alterations and corrections.
Setsuna Meiou was doing the best she could, thank you very much.
She had not expected the three maids to go through the Stargate. Nor apparently for them to be lost on the other side of that gate.
However, she did have a "backup plan" to utilize.
"The Stargate and this device, called a DHD or 'Dial Home Device', were found at Giza at the turn of the century," said Setsuna. "They were in this mansion sometime thereafter, and sealed away until recently. As a millionaire heiress and archaeologist, I found the setup intriguing until my hired help vanished and hasn't been seen since."
She managed a pensive look as she seemed to collect her thoughts. "In any case, I have discovered that on the other side of this Stargate are many other worlds - many of which are controlled by an evil empire with treasures and technologies beyond anything on this world. Since I needed someone experienced in all sorts of things to explore this - and perhaps abscond with those treasures, I sought your assistance."
