But now they had other concerns that weren't about that particular girl.
"Minako is the best!" yelled one of the fencing team. "She's happy, cheerful, and she's always willing to help out!"
A track team member snorted. "Haruka's better, what with her long legs and cool attitude!"
"You just think that because she likes track, and you want her as a mascot!"
"Like you guys don't want your own cheerleader!"
"Both of you are fools! Ami is the best one! Someone so smart, lovely and polite can't help but be top one of the pets!" a member of the chemistry club scoffed.
"You've got to be kidding!" barked both of the other boys.
Walking up to them came a boy from the kendo team. "You're wrong. Rei is the great one. Such fire and passion in such a lovely form!"
Now there were three boys doing the snapping back. "That's stupid!"
"No, you're all stupid!" Sayuri growled as she stomped over to them. "Don't you realize what you sound like?"
"Of course they don't. They're so wrapped up in their own thoughts that they don't realize what they are doing," commented a player from the baseball team.
"See? One of you boys actually understands what's what...."
"Exactly! How can anyone think that anyone but Hotaru could be the best? She's so soft, gentle, generous, kind and cute! And she tries so hard, even though she's always so shy and under confident!" The burly hitter put a forearm against his eyes and sobbed.
The dark haired girl just gave them all a flat look of disgust.
As did Kodachi Kuno, who looked at the boys from the branch that she had been standing on. She had been hoping to catch her beloved Ranma when she came to visit his school, but she hadn't found him when she came. What she had come across was the foolish rambling of the overly hormonal. Each of those boys was thinking of terms of how a petgirl could fit into their fantasies, which would tend to follow their own sexual desires.
Being a chapter member of 'People for the Ethical Treatment of Animal Girls', she was not one who would allow for such callous treatment of petgirls. They were beings who needed to be cared for and respected, with needs and personalities of their own. Those boys didn't understand that the girls were not there for their own base ideas, but were in need of caring owners who understood the correct manner to tend to them.
That was why Akane Tendo was such a frustrating case. The girl simply could not understand that it was only natural that the petgirls should express themselves as they would feel the need to. As they were not truly human, it was not like she was having a permanent partner, but more like a close companion to share pleasure with. Besides, it was a need that the animal girls needed to address, and as a PETAG member, she understood this.
And it did bode well that her darling Ranma had such happy pet girls. They were comfortable, well provided for, and affectionate. If only he would let them fully show their love for him, everything would be perfect for them. She would have no problem helping him in that arena.
Then again, she was glad that it was him who had gotten them, instead of a fool, such as her idiot of a brother, who would not have the proper instincts to have a dead cricket as a pet, never mind an animal girl.
"ACHOO!" Tatewaki Kuno, legend in his own mind, sneezed, letting it echo through out the kendo team's training hall. "Sasuke!"
"Here, Master Kuno," replied the ninja, holding out a handkerchief.
"You should have been there before it was necessary."
"I shall try to improve, Master."
"Good. I can not allow for any delays! I have finally found a way to save my dear Akane from the depravity that is Saotome!"
"That is good, isn't it?"
"Of course it is, fool! Why would I say so, if that was not the case? The situation is not something to ignore! With his sudden influx of attractive non human pet girls, he has proven to be the menace to women that I have always held him to be! No doubt, he's using those oh so lovely forms for his own personal pleasures! And that makes it only more important that I get the pure light that is Akane Tendo away from him!"
Sasuke blinked at him. "How will you do that, Master?"
"I will use the providence that Heaven has put before me, and transform the fierce tigress Akane Tendo into my petgirl!"
"But isn't that the same as what Saotome has?"
"Certainly not," Kuno snapped, whapping the ninja on the head with his bokuto. "I am not the lust driven animal that Saotome is. This is something that I shall endeavor to do so that Akane may be freed from the influence of that foul sorcerer. Then she will absolutely be wishing to show her thanks for my rescue of her, and will add that to the love that she already is the bearer of. As my petgirl, she will be having no barriers to showing me the affection that is my due, and she will know that her place is at my side, with her acting dutifully and as submissively as a pet should be."
"But what about the pigtailed girl?"
"This will allow me to have them both! When I think of being able to legitimately having both with me, in my life and in my bed...."
Looking up at his employer, Sasuke watched the drool starting to form at the tall boy's mouth, and slipped away. He was going to need a mop and bucket soon.
Cologne smiled at her thoughts on what was going on and wondered if her ancestors were doing the same to her. They seemed to have given her a break on the situation, and it seemed that things were not going to go back to how they were. With these petgirls around, it was obvious that life would not be boring, as they brought a new life to what had become a rather predictable routine.
She did like these new girls, too. Each of them were not of the really stuffy sort, and had no problem with having their Master be with other girls. In fact, they seemed to actively desire it, as they tried to get other, human, girls into their lives. Akane Tendo, Miss Kuonji and Shampoo had each been seen as appealing, and it was clear that the petgirls had no problem with partnering with the girls, or sharing their Master with them. Heck, they might even desire a threesome with one of the girls and their Master.
And since they had apparently seen her great-granddaughter as an appealing candidate, she was going to go on fostering that belief. Not only did she like the animal girls, but they held a lot of weight with their rather reluctant owner. He might not be in a rush to scratch certain itches that they might have, but he did care for them. Because of that, if she got on their good side, that would certainly influence her son-in-law.
Then again, it was just nice having such happy souls around in her old age.
