"Where monsters rampage, we're there to take it down," said Sailor Uranus, posing atop a ramen stand, rose petals drifting in the background.
Sailor Neptune stifled a groan at the 'Slayers' reference, and went on with her line. "For the sake of humanity, we elegantly arrive."
"WORLD SHAKING!" attacked Uranus, targetting the metal yoma.
"DEEP SUBMERGING!" attacked Neptune, targetting the big green monster.
SPANG! went something into Akane's chest, bouncing off and sending a spray of sand up into the air.
WOP! went the attack into the Hulk.
"Huh?" asked the Hulk, not sure what this was about.
Akane stumbled to a halt and checked her clothing. Something had ripped the chest out. "EEEEK!"
Sailor Uranus temporarily stopped as she watched the yoma cover her chest and go off to hide in a 'Shaved Ice' booth. "Okay, that's never happened before."
"Uranus!" said Neptune as the big green monster slowly got up and began moving towards the ice cream truck.
"HMMMMMM!" said the Hulk, pulling out a large number of 'Nutter Butter Cones'. "This look good."
"World Shaking!" "Deep Submerging!"
Usagi, still buried up to her neck in the sand, watched in horror as the Hulk turned away from the ice cream truck. He had a delighted little-boy smile and two handfuls (and he had BIG hands) of ice cream confections in his hands.
BOOM! BOOM!
Usagi cried for the tragedy of the ice cream.
"We don't know them!" quickly declared Sailor Venus.
Sailor Mercury cleared her throat, setting the Mercury Computer (running in Universal Translator mode - something she'd just discovered and thought was AWFULLY handy) aside for the moment. "There are traditions to respect here."
"Oh yeah," said Sailor Venus, remembering. She posed. "For attacking a peaceful gathering before a big battle!"
"For disturbing a moment of tranquility," added Sailor Mercury.
"For attacking innocent ice cream," tacked on Sailor Mars.
"For... something," said Sailor Jupiter, lost for an ad lib at the moment.
"We'll punish you!" said the Sailor Senshi.
A large gob of ice cream falling off his face, someone else added something. "HULK SMASH!"
"Uhm, after you, Hulk-san," said Nova, indicating the two. "In Japan, it is only polite to let the visiting guest go first."
"OOoh, I like that thought," said Sailor Venus.
The Hulk tromped over to the ramen stand one girl was standing on.
Uranus twitched, wondering if the monster was actually bigger now that he looked angry or if it was just that he was closer. Seeing what the fellow was about to do, she simply leapt away - joining Neptune atop the shaved ice stall.
"World-"
"Deep-"
Snarling, the Hulk ripped off a large chunk of the ramen stand and threw it.
Ramen stand hit shaved ice stall and collapsed.
From deep within the ruin, some young girl's voice made a statement. "Okay, now I'm officially having a bad day."
"Miss Tendo?" asked Nova, hearing that voice.
"Yes, I mean, who?" asked the voice. "Just a typical Japanese superheroine making her debut!"
"It does sound a bit like Tendo-san," said Sailor Mercury, deciding to ignore the way the two other Senshi were throwing blasts at the Hulk. The Hulk was stalking forward, getting more and more progressively annoyed, and the two were using their greater speed to remain out of reach.
