Sailor Neptune stumbled as her intuitive ability abruptly sent the equivelant of a four-alarm signal. "The ocean is restless."
Sailor Uranus paused at Neptune's inelegant stumble.
SPLOT!
Sailor Uranus went down, her head obscured by a carton of Green Tea Ice Cream Bars applied with sufficient force that she tumbled end over end for nearly fifteen feet before coming to a stop.
"URAN-" began Neptune.
SPLURCH!
Neptune sat up, slowly bringing her fingers up to scoop Fudge Ripple away from her eyes and spit a glob of it out of her mouth. "Of course you know, this means war."
BLOOOP! went a big bubble out in the water.
The jade giant nodded in satisfaction. "Hulk have to admit bow-hair girl come up with good plan."
Sailor Venus merely looked as innocent as she could at the moment.
"For that, I cannot forgive you," said Sailor Uranus. She was supposed to be the cool and elegant and sophisticated figure. Having to try and get ice cream out of her ear was not conducive to that image.
"Guys, we got company," said Nova.
The water started fountaining up at a distance of about a quarter mile from where the group stood. Higher and higher the waters shot up.
"I know you said the ocean was restless," said Sailor Uranus to Neptune, "but that's kind of ridiculous."
Neptune, staring wide-eyed, took a step back. The big green monster and the Dark General were one thing, but now the ringleader of these villains was showing up?
(cue Gojira theme music)
Like a mountain emerging from the waters, a vaguely dinosaurian form started to appear - partially obscured at first by the deluge his emergence was causing.
It seemed to take longer to everyone on the beach staring (except the foreigner who grumbled something about needing more ice cream) but actually only lasted a few seconds before the figure wading towards shore was fully visible.
"Gojira?!" asked a twitching Sailor Neptune, on seeing the monster fully.
"Gojira," said Sailor Uranus, wondering if this might be a problem.
"Gojira," agreed Sailor Mercury, scanning.
"Oh heck," said Nova, aka Ranma Mizuno, on seeing Gojira up close and personal and wondering if he couldn't take on a smaller menace for his debut.
"Well, go ahead, he's tall too, Jupiter-chan," said Sailor Venus.
"Oh?" said Sailor Jupiter, ready to grab Ami's brother, drag him off behind the remains of the ramen stand, and kiss his tonsils out before she went off to what might be her final battle.
"I don't think Jupiter-chan is Gojira-san's type," murmurred Nova, wondering why Jupiter was staring at him like that.
"gojira?" asked a voice from within the remains of the 'shaved ice' booth.
"Can I go home now?" asked Sailor Moon, still buried in the sand up to her neck and perspiring heavily.
