Coupled Union - Tick Tock: Cominagetcha [Episode 155162]

by Kwakerjak

Minako was up unusually early that day, having actually set her alarm clock (in addition to putting it somewhere where she’d have to get out of bed to turn it off). Of course, she wouldn’t have gone to all this trouble without a reason; this morning, she was going to make up for her gaffe at the party when she decided to inspect Ranma-chan’s breasts a little too gingerly—if she didn’t, she’d be the butt of Haruka’s jokes for weeks.

The problem was how to make up for it. To put it simply, there was little that someone could do for Setsuna that she couldn’t do herself; thanks to the Time Gates, she could take care of pretty much any situation that could conceivably come up. Then again… didn’t the Outers say the Setsuna couldn’t use the Gates to monitor Ranma? The Senshi of Love gasped and began speaking out loud as an idea began to drag itself out of the primordial ooze. “Maybe I can find out something that Setsuna can use! But how do I do that? I don’t have any nifty gizmos like the Mercury Computer or magical talismans like the Deep Aqua Mirror and I can’t read the Great Fire like Rei and it’ll be awkward to ask Luna to do that weird memory jogging thing…”

By this time, a white mooncat had entered the room, and was currently staring at his charge. “Minako, what the heck are you talking about?”

“Oh, nothing…” Minako was about to change the subject, when a thought occurred to her. “Say, Artemis, can you do that mind meld thing that Luna does?”

“Uh, yes I can, but I’m not nearly as good at it as she is—”

“Great! Then we’re going to Setsuna’s.”

“What?! Why?”

“Because you’re going to do that to Ranma, and you will find out more about him, and I will tell Setsuna and that will make up for me poking his boobs last night.”

“Um, Minako, I’m not quite following you here.”

“You don’t have to. You just find Ranma while I distract the others, do your thing, and that’ll be it.”

“But Minako, I’m really not that good at it—in fact, if I don’t have the full cooperation of the other person, I can’t really do anything. That’s why I usually let Luna handle it.”

“Don’t worry about it… I’m sure Setsuna’s already told him about the Senshi, and even if she hasn’t, Ranma strikes me as being a cat person. All you’ll have to do to get him calmed down is just act like a normal cat. Easy as cake!”

“But that look that Setsuna flashed Luna and me with last night—”

Minako’s smile turned into a scowl. “Look, we’re either going to the Outers’ place, or I’m taking you to the vet to have you fixed.”

“Well, now that you mention it, I suppose I could give the old ‘mind meld’ a try,” the mooncat said nervously. He knew that he and Luna would eventually have at least one kitten (likely a lot more, since mooncats usually had litters just like normal cats), but thanks to the wonders of technology, he also knew that there were ways to accomplish this other than the good old-fashioned (and fun) way.

“I knew you’d see things my way.” Thus, Minako and her Cute Talking Animal Mascot™ headed out towards their destination, missing the noise from the Senshi’s neglected communicator by seconds.

“Besides, he’s supposed to be a highly trained martial artist—it’s not like you’d make him nervous.”

Setsuna was about begin nudging her husband awake when he abruptly went into a violent sneezing fit. Hmm… sneeze of recognition. Well, I suppose the Inners would be thinking about Ranma. And naturally, that thinking would be totally innocent—Ranma was hers, after all.

Ranma was also currently awake, though given his reaction to his surroundings, his brain probably hadn’t figured that out yet. “Ugh… wa’s gon’ on?”

Setsuna smiled and leaned forward so her spouse could get a nice look down her robe. “Good morning, husband.”

Ranma’s mental state rapidly progressed from “drowsy” to “awake = very yes” upon seeing this lovely view. “Setsuna! Uh, good morning.”

“Did you sleep well last night?”

“Uh huh…”

“As erudite as usual, I see. Well, I certainly had no problems… you did a good job last night.”

Ranma was clearly still out of it, because it took him several minutes to figure out what his wife meant by his “good job.” When the realization dawned on him, he blushed and started grinning. “Oh… was I really good?”

“Ranma, unlike some women, I am not the type who would lie about that—I know you’re the kind of person who responds well to classical conditioning.”

“Huh?”

“That means when I say you’ve done well, it means that you’ve done well. Granted, there’s room for improvement, but you did more than I ever would have expected for someone’s first time.”

“Oh… uh, that’s good, I guess…” Ranma’s forehead wrinkled as a somewhat troubling thought came to him. “Um, last night… it wasn’t yer first time, was it?”

I knew I should have told him beforehand. “No, Ranma, it wasn’t, but I hadn’t had sex in a long time when I first met you—and rest assured, that I haven’t slept with anyone else since then.”

“Oh, alright.”

“Now then, you still look kind of sleepy… would you like to go downstairs for some breakfast… or would you rather I did the job myself?” Setsuna asked with a wry grin.

Ranma was placed in the unenviable position (especially for him) of having to choose between sex and food. Fortunately, his growling stomach made his answer for him. “Uh, I guess I gotta go with breakfast… there’ll be plenty of time for sex later, right?”

Setsuna chuckled softly. “I can’t argue with that logic… why don’t you get cleaned up while I head downstairs and make you something to eat, alright?”

“Okay.” Ranma hopped out of bed and headed down the hall.

“Ranma?”

“Yeah?”

“The bathroom’s that way.”

“Oh… thanks.”

“No problem.”
