Magic Prince Ranma: Just slipping out for a breath of fresh air, honest. [Episode 15611]

"Did you really think you could slip out of the palace without me?" Mira chided with a touch of anger in her voice. Despite a playful nature, Mira took her position fairly seriously, but she treated Ranma more like a troublesome younger brother than a rider. Mira looked like a slender gray elf with elagantly coifed silver hair and a quiet, commanding presence. She was in fact a silver dragon and connected to her paladin by an empathic link which sometimes seemed to benifit her more than her rider.

"Of course not," Ranma lied and wondered again how the heck she managed to get around the bond. He had been certain that she was roosting in the cliff above the city.

Mira snorted in disbeleif and stopped masking the bond. Releif filled Ranma as her amusement and good humor became clear. She was as ready for an unsupervised adventure as he.

"I don't suppose the two of you managed to keep anyone else from following?" he asked hopefully.

"So far," Mira replied. "But that won't last if we hang around much longer."

"So what are we doing?" Tarre asked with uncommon eagerness as they set off. The seemingly slinky drow had dark hair in a thigh length braid, dusky skin and a normally shy air about her. If you looked at her with true-sight, however, you would see an adolecent black dragon with patches of scared scales. Her shyness and underconfidence lasted in whatever form she took, because it was quite real, as was her current eagerness to prove herself trustworthy.

"Er, well," Ranma said with a slightly embarrased cough, "I had planned to go down to the ..."
