It was a sad day in the demon world, or a happy one, it all depended on how you looked at it really. For you see, a hero of the downtrodden had been slain. Okay, he wasn’t exactly what humans would call a hero. The guy killed people without mercy, took whatever the hell he wanted, and stabbed his best friends in the back at the first opportunity. But since he did it all in a demonic realm, there were plenty of creatures that looked up to him and used this particular demon as a model to try and make their own way in their dog eat dog world. So that said, it was quite understandable how these people (or monsters really) could look up to a cold-hearted thief that slaughtered anything in his way without mercy, and sold out his own men.

Yes, the demonic world was worse off the day that Yoko Kurama was finally brought down.

Now, you’ve probably all heard this story before. Demon fox dies, demon fox’s sprit merges with unborn human child, then after a rather wishy-washy childhood where the demon fox is a spoiled brat turned perfect child and student, he becomes a defender of the human world as a plea-bargain with a rather lenient sprit world judge.
