Unfortunately, they wouldn't even have to try to get involved in that sort of trouble. Just by being around, it would cause a lot of difficulties that would most certainly not be welcome. Of course, it was very good that they could do certain, very helpful things. It was just that she knew that the whole situation was going to be very different from how it would 'normally' go.
For a case in point, she only had to look at where a certain shapely 'woman' was walking.
Walking in the park was more her sister's style, but Urd could admit that it did have its benefits. It got her out of the house, and gave her plenty of opportunities to enjoy herself. After all, there were a great many places to hang out nearby, and she could stop in whenever she wanted. And being in the park at least allowed her to tease the various boys and men that passed by.
But the sound of screaming wasn't something that she had expected to come across. She had come there in search of Belldandy's latest assignment, and was finding that people were running away in the direction that was opposite of the way that she was going. That was a definite clue that something was up, which could only mean trouble. At least it wasn't something that she had started, as it was clear that it was something that she was stepping into.
When she did get to the source of it all, she discovered what the problem was. It looked like someone had been using a food stand as a cover for some sort of nasty work. The structure had a clear dark taint to it, and she could tell that evil had been done there.
Her conclusion was confirmed when she found herself being attacked, with something pulling at her energies at the same time.
Moving back, she glared at what looked like a green female creature with large forearms and a thick brow. "What do you think you're doing?"
That threw the yoma mentally as she had been expecting the normal running and screaming, or fainting. "Draining you."
"I don't think so."
"Not a choice."
"Really? You think so?"
Instead of answering, the yoma charged forwards, stretching out her oversized hands to try and grab onto the energy that this woman was giving out. She had an amazing amount, and if that could be brought back, then this mission would be an unadulterated success. However, instead of falling over from the attack, the woman seemed to be.... muttering under her breath.
"I call down the lightning!" Urd called out, holding one arm up towards the sky.
Upon hearing peals of thunder echo throughout the entire area on a cloudless day, the yoma looked up and saw a massive bolt of lightning heading right for her, too fast to be dodged. There was only one thing that she could think at that moment. 'This is going to hurt.'
As she saw a column of lightning make the yoma into dust in a crater, Setsuna sighed and wondered why things had twisted like this. Sure, it wasn't exactly a terrible thing to get help from the gods, but this sort of situation wasn't exactly what she had wanted. With the way that things stood, she couldn't figure out why heaven had decided to get involved, but they clearly had.
And now that they were, she could see all sorts of effects popping up.
Meditating in front of the sacred fire had always been something that Rei had held to be a good thing to do. Doing so allowed her to clear and focus her mind, getting rid of all the negative emotions and stress that had built up. Plus, she would sometimes get visions, and be able to see things before they happened.
She knew that she could see the future, though only in clouded visions that would never be easily explained. Only when the event actually came would she have a full understanding of what was at stake. Luckily, she usually had enough to figure out at least part of what was going on. But she wasn't going out of her way to see the future, and didn't aim for anything but what she would naturally got it.
When she found herself falling into the trance though, the image of a pretty girl with long ebony hair and odd facial marks sailed past her, almost like the girl was twirling past her in a dance.
'This means something,' Rei thought to herself.
It would have been rather surprising for the dignified and cool Senshi of Time to slap herself in the face, but Setsuna had to fight to keep herself from doing exactly that. Rei had known that she had been able to see glimpses of the future, but she didn't know that in her latest vision, she actually had seen the Future, or at least the goddess of it. The oddity of if just frustrated the green haired woman, as she had a clear idea of what was going on, and was seeing others walking around in the dark. With that being the case, it was like watching a television show with a spoiler list on the seat next to her.
Yet, she could only watch for the moment, while:
