Maybe I should have come here earlier Mokuba thought as he looked around the room of full seats. Even all the places next to the wall were filled out, and at the rate students were arriving, it wouldn’t be long before there was standing room only.
Deciding to get this over with a soon as possible, Mokuba looked down at the form in his lap before starting to fill it out. Shortly before deciding to attend the school Mokuba had thought it best to enroll under a false ID. The reason for this was the same as any kid who went to school where his parent was a teacher; some of the other students would think that teacher would show a certain amount of favoritism towards that particular student if he happened to do better than them. Now, when that parent, or parental figure in Mokuba’s case, owned the school, paid the teachers, and provided the Duel Monsters cards, the potential for trouble from the students was far greater.
Of course the younger Kaiba had precautions in place something went wrong, like the school trying to expel him for submitting fake records, or people trying to say that his graduation was invalid for the same reason. The headmaster knew who he really was, as well as the head of campus security. Seto wouldn’t have even let Mokuba attend the place if there wasn’t someone watching over him.
His form filled out, Mokuba ‘Kiba’ headed back up to the admissions officer and handed it back to her. All in all, there wasn’t really that much to Mokuba’s so called disguise. Thanks to his brother, the younger Kaiba had only just been on the edge of the spotlight his whole life. Who wanted to take an interest in the younger and pretty much mundane Mokuba when they could have the child prodigy and genius Seto? So, apart from the miniscule change to his name, the birth date that Mokuba had put down was two months off, and he was wearing a pair of brown contact lenses. The basic idea was to simply hide in plain sight and hope that anyone who did figure him out would have the brains to keep his mouth shut.
