"Explain your plan to me." Shampoo said in a slowed voice, speaking her Joketsuzoku Chinese dialect.
Smiling, Lillith replied. "I knew you would at least want to listen."
Shampoo shot Lillith a glare. "You wanted to explain some things, and so I shall listen." Shampoo's glare then seemed to intensify. "But that is all!"
Smirking even more, Lillith said, "Are you sure? You just might like what I have to say."
Seeing Shampoo just continue to glare even more, Lillith had to hold back from laughing. This girl thought she could intimidate her!? Lillith who had ridden on the back of Cerberus for over an hour before the three-headed guard-dog flinged her off it's back? Lillith who had slept with some of the greatest dictators and conquerers of all human history? (Lillith had to admit Alexander wasn't so Great).
Well, all things considered, if noithing else, this Shampoo would be good for a laugh.
Clearing her voice Lillith said, "The plan is pretty straight forward. Giving you power, I could put you into even standing with the goddess Peorth."
"Even standing?" Shampoo asked.
"Yes." Lillith said. "With you on the same level of power, you will do as you SHOULD have done to those other 'fiancees' who were after your airen. You will be able to take Peorth out, and if not for good, then at least for a long time."
"So?" Shampoo asked. "Then airen will become angry with me. That will ruin my chances to be with him."
Lillith's smile seemed to widen. "Not so. You see, as you will be dealing with the goddess who has stolen your airen's heart with magic, I will be releasing him from it. When he sees it is you who saved him from a fate with a woman he had never known, he will more than willingly go to you, as you will have been the only woman not to have given up on him."
"So, why won't you just use the gem on him first?" Shampoo asked. She may have seemed 'bubbly' when she spoke Japanese, but she was far from it. She was a cold, calculative warrior of the Joketsuzoku Amazons!
Lillith smirked and answered, "Simple. The goddess will still be around. She can easilly use her god-given powers to turn his love back to her."
"I see..." Shampoo said carefully, watching the woman before her for any sign that she could be lying. Shampoo had to admit if this woman was lying, she was a damn good liar.
Pushing a strang of hair out of her face with a finger, Lillith then asked Shampoo, "So... Do we have a deal?"
Shampoo thought about that offer long and hard. It seemed good to her. She would be given power to actually kill a goddess, so that she would not be able to come back after her airen, and so she could live happily ever after with Ranma.
Still, while she was willing to deal with the one major obstacle in her way of getting to her airen, Shampoo was not ready to be a killer. She had never killed anyone in her life, and to kill a goddess would put her in a bad light among the eyes of the gods. After all, she might be able to have a life-time of heaven on earth with Ranma, but then she would deal with an eternity of hell.
Shaking her head, Shampoo stood up slowly and bowed politely to Lillith. "I thank you for your offer, but I cannot accept your help. I shall do this on my own. I will win Ranma back, somehow. I will free him from the goddess, so that we can be happy once more."
And with that Shampoo turned on her heels, and walked away from Lillith.
