In this world, that took on a whole new factor when one considered the fact that aliens and beings of myth were now living side by side with 'normal' folks. Where a relationship with a person of magic might have once been fodder for a fictional story, now there were people who had partners who were from outside their own species.
And that had resulted in a good number of half-breed children.
Looking over the Ranma of this timeline, Setsuna discovered that this version of the boy was one of those who were not quite human. Oh, he had the parentage of at least one member of the human race, but his other parent was clearly not. That made for some interesting results, but the main thing in all of this was that he was half alien. Because of that, he was one of the growing population of mixed breeds who were the product of such unions.
Oddly enough, it didn't surprise Setsuna to see that such a situation was the case. His new situation seemed oddly fitting, given how things had turned out. To tell the truth, she had to admit that she would have been mildly shocked if he hadn't been affected, especially considering the fact that he was pulled into this by the strings of fate. As it stood, he was going to be involved with the changes whether he wanted to be or not.
A need to know what she was dealing with made Setsuna turn her attention to exactly what Ranma's parentage was. She knew that he had one human parent, but even if things worked out so that she was merely going to be around him, she wanted to know how she would have to react, rather than just letting herself get whacked over the head by it the first time its effects showed up when she was in his presence.
