You take the opening turn and for your opening hand, you have Magician's Valkyrie (4/1600/1800), Graceful Charity (Normal Magic), Old Vindictive Magician (2/450/600), Dark Magic Curtain (Normal Magic) and Dark Renewal (Trap). For your draw, you obtain Magician's Circle (Trap).
Activate Graceful Charity.
For the three card draw, you get Dark Magician [Arkana art] (7/2500/2100), Mystical Space Typhoon (Instant Magic) and Dark Illusion (Trap).
Dark Illusion?
It can only be activated when the Dark Magician is on your side of the field and is targeted by a monster card effect, a magic card or a trap card. This trap card protects it from being targeted for one turn. The downside is that the opponent can draw one card.
Yuck... but it may come in handy to protect my Dark Magician. Discard Dark Magician and Dark Magic Curtain. Set Dark Renewal, Magician's Circle, Dark Illusion and Magician's Valkyrie before ending my turn.
Asuka draws and sets one card before activating Polymerization to fuse Blade Skater and Etoile Cyber to summon Cyber Blader (6/2100/800) which has different abilities depending on the number of monsters you have on the field. If there's one monster, it can't be destroyed in battle. Two monsters on your field and her monster's Attack points are doubled. Three monsters and all your magic, trap and monster effects are negated.
Wow... by any chance, does Fusion-Summoning like that trigger Dark Renewal?

Your trap card comes to life and takes both Cyber Blader and your Magician's Valkyrie as a tribute before a holographic coffin appeared. The lid burst open and a red clad magician with white hair, dark skin and a green staff took his place on the field. "Nice way to get a high level monster on the field early, Negi," commented Asuka.
Say: "Thanks."
"Too bad it won't stay there for long. I summon Cyber Gymnatics (4/800/1800) in defense mode! Then I'll use my monster's special ability by discarding a card to destroy your Dark Magician!!" A woman in gold armour and a white mask appeared on the field and crouched before throwing a projectile at your Spellcaster monster.
Activate Dark Illusion!!
Your Dark Magician waves his wand to nullify the effect of her monster. Although Asuka draws a new card, she can't activate her monster's ability again since it's a once per turn thing. She activates Fusion Recovery to get back her Polymerization card and Etoile Cyber (4/1200/1600) before ending her turn. For your draw, you get Trap Booster (Instant Magic).
Let's first disarm that set card she has. Activate Mystical Space Typhoon.
Asuka responds by activating her face down card which turns out to be Scapegoat (Instant Magic). Four Sheep tokens (1/0/0) are Special Summoned to her side of the field in defense mode.
I can save Sheep Token shredding for later. Set Old Vindictive Magician and then enter Battle Phase. Attack Cyber Gymnatics with Dark Magician and then end turn.
Asuka draws a new card and uses Pot of Greed to draw twice more. She sets a monster before ending her turn. For your draw, you get Dark Magician's Spear (Equip Magic).
Wow... it actually comes in handy. Flip summon Old Vindictive Magician to get rid of her set monster. Equip Dark Magician's Spear on Dark Magician and then enter Battle Phase. Use Old Vindictive Magician to attack a Sheep Token and activate Magician's Circle to bring in another Spellcaster from my deck. Who's available for battle?
You have several Spellcasters with base attack points of 2000 and less. They are Magician of Faith, Gemini Elf, Skilled Dark Magician, Dark Magician Girl, Magician's Valkyrie, Dark Elf and Breaker the Magical Warrior. Keep in mind that I'm only listing your options for Special Summoning a monster and that I didn't say how many copies of each card are in the deck. But it's safe to assume you have more than one Magician's Valkyrie obviously.
Okay there. I'll Special Summon Dark Magician Girl for eye candy and because she's the strongest option I got to go with at the moment.
I expected nothing less of you. A blonde busty female Spellcaster appears on your side of the field. In the meantime, Asuka has just Special Summoned a Spellcaster of her own which is Mind on Air (6/1000/1600). As long as it's face up, you have to reveal your hand.
I have no clue what the hell type of purpose it serves in her deck though. In any case, attack Mind on Air with Dark Magician Girl and then have Dark Magician shred a Sheep Token to show her that she can't hide behind them.
Your opponent looks in alarm as you plow through her defenses to drastically lower her life points to 500.
I can't do anything else so end turn.
Asuka draws a new card...
