And if what he was seeing in this magazine and hearing from this girl were accurate, he was in a universe where there were no other Saiyans.
That wasn't good. However that genie-creature was similar to Shen Long, so it didn't need to be that way forever. Though there was another method of getting the Saiyan race started here.
"Nabiki, have you seen... Oh there you are, Ranma!"
Vegita looked over at the strange but somewhat cute girl who seemed to be angry with him? "You are demanding something of me?"
"I just saw P-chan," said the strange girl, "he acted terrified. I know you had something to do with that."
Vegita smirked. "If this 'P-chan' fears me, then he shows more sense than many."
"What did you do to him?" The girl growled.
Vegita frowned. Who was this girl to make demands of him anyway? Pfeh. He was getting way too soft.
"NO! AKANE! YOU'LL DIE!"
Both Vegita and Akane looked to the scared-damn-near-out-of-her-wits Nabiki.
Akane came to a conclusion. "You PERVERT!"
In a typical Ranma or Love Hina or similar encounter, no amount of skill on the part of the male would allow him to escape female outrage - whether it was justified or not. She would be able to strike him and get through any and all defenses and somehow surprise him in order to punish the victim.
This was not true of Vegita. The number of females he would allow to strike him were never that great in number, and she'd better be commencing that weird Earther mating ritual if she did it.
Akane found her fist not only stopped but gripped in "Ranma's" hand. Then, purely as an object lesson, Vegita closed the fingers of that hand.
Nabiki realized the sound was similar to that of crunching a handful of popcorn.
"You're... not Ranma," gasped Akane as she stared past the ruin of her right hand.
"No, I'm not," agreed Vegita as the second female collapsed in a faint and the first female used a belt as a tourniquet to stop the bleeding. "If Kakarotto is not here..."
