"Uh... did I do something wrong?" asked Red.
"...No," Akane manged to say, "You just remind me of someone."
"By the look on your face, I'd say it was some one pretty bad."
"Not until then."
"What?"
"You wouldn't understand."
"Maybe if you told me..."
"I couldn't..."
"Hey... don't space out on me..."
The Corellian shook her head to clear it. "You just reminded me of something I've been trying to forget."
"I'm sorry. I just wanted off this sand heap, not to bring up bad memories."
"Yeah, well, it's not your fault," Akane reasurred her quickly. Privately she was looking this girl over. Despite having a body just like Ranma's girl side, this young woman did not dress the same. A green long sleeved shirt was tucked into a pair of dark pants while what looked like a brown jacket was slung over one shoulder. Sweat from the heat had made the shirt stick to several places that showed that this girl was more aware of what a girl should wear than her parallel self.
"Um... So what do we do about it?"
"To be honest I have no idea." And Akane found that she didn't. While this female looked like Ranma, she had more of the feel of what the former schoolgirl had thought a pigtailed girl had brought one rainy day.
Red sighed. "Damn this is wierd."
