Setsuna's Fault - Alien Senshi: Kitty Fire [Episode 158864]

by Kender

Setsuna began to wonder if there were any human Senshi around as she looked at the changed Senshi of Fire. It just seemed to be so odd that the individuals who were supposed to be protecting this world were all from outside of it. After all, she would have thought that the people of this planet would be included in the task of protecting this world. Of course, this just didn't seem to be happening for her.

Then again, she at least had an easy way to figure out a way to have an easy time getting dinner for the miko, though milk and fish didn't seem to be quite the best meal. Perhaps a nice trout in cream sauce would do.

Rei was not a Wau, and she was definitely not from Mau. It was absolutely, and unequivocally not the case, and she was certainly not going to claim to be from either race. She didn't have anything against them in particular, but she did have to admit that she was annoyed with the times when people confused her for a whole different species. Doing so wasn't like mixing up a Juraian noble with a regular soldier. Rather, it was like mixing up a Klingon and a Juraian. They had similar characteristics, but there were some very obvious differences.

Coming off from her world of catgirls, she'd gotten used to the leers, and the 'knowing' looks that knew nothing at all. That was something that she could handle. But when idiot port workers got her species mixed up, it was kind of disconcerting. As much as she enjoyed the company of the other races, coming across someone so stupid that he couldn't even tell the difference between two species with very different facial structures was a bit of a hassle.

Turning her nose up and striding away from where the offending official was getting a dressing down from his superior, she kept herself standing proud. After all, that guy was obviously some sort of idiot, and she knew that the only way to deal with such fools was to leave them behind. But she couldn't in this instance until he was corrected, and fully understanding his stupidity, as it could have caused her hassles, like misidentification, later.

Besides, what he'd really been caring about had been clear, and she did not appreciate the look that had spoken of his interest in using a leash on her even in his sexual daydreams, which had made her want to hurt him for every Wau female as well as her own people.

Fortunately, she wasn't staying there, as she'd only gone out into the port to stretch her legs as her ship got some work done. Once the refuelling and resupplying were completed, she'd be heading off to the planet that was her real destination. Not that it would be exactly a simple thing to blend in on that world.

This 'Earth' was only now using rudimentary space travel, and their species wasn't exactly high on the awareness of alien life scale. Fortunately for her, she didn't have the Wau muzzle, which while quite lovely in a lot of instances, could be an issue on a world of smaller faces. Her ears could be covered, if need be, and so she could fit in... save for one problem. With hands that had thicker fingers than these 'humans', and claws, she was going to have some problems.

Oddly enough, she was going to an area that had a lot of examples of catgirls in its popular culture, which would make for an... interesting experience. She wasn't exactly certain of what she was going to do there, but she was aware that she had to go. There was a great mysticism on this world, and she was drawn to it. In her calling as a person who sought out deep spiritual connections, she knew that this place would be important to her. Her people did have a belief in the existence powers that one would not be able to immediately measure, and as one of the special few with extra senses, she was not about to ignore the call to a place like this 'Earth'.

One might not understand the ways of other species, but she was not going to let some bureaucrat simply dismiss an entire people's worth like that.

Blowing out a breath, Setsuna considered what was going on, and wondered if reality was having a nice little giggle at her expense. As it stood, she was discovering that all the Senshi that she'd found were aliens, and that the Earth was becoming an interplanetary stop over for those same races. It was a bit nice to have aliens around that were not about to try to destroy the world, or something about it, when they came by.

However, it was definitely going to be interesting to see what would happen when they'd meet.

She couldn't help herself, and ruefully smiled with a sigh, while:
