It was one of the reasons that Earth was considered so interesting.
Including an individual whose name was Galaxy Police Cadet Minako Kuramitsu, determined to do good on her first assignment!
Naturally, after the (ahem) incident at Galaxy Police Academy involving the airlock, twelve boys, a pervert robot and thirty two gallons of lemon cream - a SAFE post was desired for this enthusiastic but somewhat problem-prone cadet. Especially as one of the boys involved was highly placed within certain elements of society and those elements did NOT want anything potentially scandalous on that boy's record.
Someplace safe, mostly. Out of the way, perhaps some backwards little planet. A clerk who didn't get around much thought this place with the dull name of Earth sounded perfect.
One of Minako's classmates had a different view that she shared with Minako prior to leaving. Earth was not only under Jurai protection, but it had become rumored to be a sort of 'neutral ground' for various races. Clearly her inventiveness had been noted and here was a place for her to put the skills she'd learned to good use.
Minako went with that, and was currently on her way to meet with the Princess Usagi of Jurai, thinking that associating with the security detail of that group would be handy for later since they were going to be neighbors of a sort.
Setsuna sat back, wondering why things were so screwed up. Okay, she knew the answer already. It was just kind of fitting in order to sit back and growl about how bad things had gotten.
