However, this version of Michiru wasn't going to make things easier. It wasn't something that she was trying to do, as it wasn't like she might try. But there was a possible problem if she was going to get them together this time around.
Michura wasn't a stupid young woman by any means, but she didn't understand the reasonings behind some of the things that her people did. Romulans were a very proud people, but they did tend to spend an inordinate amount of time going around, plotting against each other. Some might pretend to be friends, but could prove to be something quite the opposite. Of course, they didn't pretend to want to have much contact with outsiders, but then again, they weren't seeing any need to.
Not that she could blame them, though not for the same reasons that they might have. Her fellow Romulans might be arrogant and emotional, but she didn't think that it was all that classy to be acting out like that. They weren't barbarians, like some species that was still huddling around fires for warmth. Rather, she thought that self control and dignity helped, especially since she had always found it more relaxing than anything else.
That did make her a bit of an oddity among her people though. Her behavior in preferring music and art to politics was rather strange for an agent in her position, and she did tend to be able to react in an almost cool way that was not quite what others could match. They might be able to hold back and wait for some time, but she could move like an ocean breeze, quick, and barely noticed amongst all the others. To top it all off, no one knew what exactly her politics were. She had a strong instinct for fighting, but no one knew where she stood on any issue.
So, that basically left her as a bit of a quandary. No one knew whether they could wholly trust her, but she was too good an agent to leave on the sides. The strange thing was that she was someone who probably would have been perfectly happy playing her music, and painting her pictures. However, as she was too useful to leave to do nothing, she was kept in reserve, and allowed to do as she wished for that time.
But when word reached them that something was going on a backwater planet, they knew that they couldn't leave it alone. The fact that so many races were heading over to one single world meant that something rather important had to be going on. Now, that could mean that the races had discovered something on that world, were working on something there, or were simply having some sort of secret meeting. No matter what it really was though, it could not be allowed to go on without at least being observed.
So, the only option was to send in an operative, and the one chosen was Michura. She was good enough to be able to go unnoticed, but wasn't one of the more important agents. Since this wasn't a major situation yet, they didn't want to spend resources if they didn't have to. Besides, this wasn't exactly a hard assignment to begin with.
Having been chosen, she was sent to the world in question, which was called 'Earth'. Once there, she settled into the area known as 'Japan', and discovered that there was much to admire, and other things to find familiar. Impressed, she slipped into the local area, and made herself at home at a free music concert, finding herself fascinated with Earth culture.
Pluto rubbed the bridge of her nose, and wondered just how easily that things could get to be troublesome. The notoriously private Romulans were not exactly the friendliest race in the galaxy, and didn't quite like Vulcans, such as her incarnation in this timeline, for obvious reasons. But she was supposed to get this timeline's versions of Haruka and Michiru to be a couple, as well as getting the two of them to work with the other Senshi. That, as it were, was not going to be a walk in the park.
Sighing to herself, she looked for some of the others, and found another Senshi, which was:
