A green bubble sped quickly through space. Inside the bubble were two men. Dick Grayson looked at the huge ship that Hal Jordan now lived in and shook his head.
"That is not Hal's style," Dick muttered.
"It was given to him by the Guardians when he was banished from Earth for a while. After he gained Tomar's ring, he brought it over into this sector to act as his base. Before his death, Abin Sur also had a ship for pretty much the same reasons. It's easier to keep prisoners in comfort using a spaceship, until they can be turned over to the proper authorities. The main reason is can be used as a place to go to sleep and relax," John Stewart replied in amusement.
The bubble carrying the two heroes landed inside a specialized airlock. Once the bubble touched down,, the doors closed and the bubble dissipated. The two quickly made their way to the central quarters of the ship. They found Hal sitting on a couch and rubbing his ribs.
"John, Nightwing. I'd say, happy to see you, but I know better," Hal said, as he grimaced a bit.
"If I recall correctly, your rings have the ability to playback incidents that a previous wielder used. By extrapolation, they can also show what the current one has done. I'd like to see the battle," Nightwing stated.
"Okay. Sure," Hal said and caused a green holo-player to appear.
The three watched the battle unfold and the comments made by Zerib.
"When you scanned that attack of Zerib's, did you scan her as well?" Nightwing asked.
"Maybe. We'll see," Hal replied.
The ring started giving it's analysis.
"Subject: Zerib. Powers include FTL flight, high resistance to physical attacks, even higher resistance to energy, dimensional manipulation to produce teleportation and dimension jumping abilities, gravitational and psychic energies. Molecular analysis shows that her bio-functions give her the approximate Earth age of one year. Conclusion: Biological android or gynoid."
There was a long silence after that.
"Okay. A biological android kidnapped Superman to force another biological android to come rescue him," John Stewart finally said.
"No. Zerib made the comment that Icezeria was turned into an Iczer, so that means that Iczeria was someone else at one point. Do you still have that case that Zerib tossed you?" Nightwing said.
A glowing green hand shot from Hal's ring and opened a cabinet. The hand then entered the locker and pulled out a metal case and brought the case to the three men.
"Sorry, still suffering from some broken ribs from Zerib's punch. The ring has healed them, but they are still badly bruised," Hal said sheepishly.
"John, cover me. This could be a trap. I doubt it, but I'm being cautious," Nightwing declared.
"Got it."
Nightwing opened the case and his face blanched at what he saw. He blinked his eyes to force away what he was seeing, for he was sure he was dreaming it.
"Dick, what's wrong?" John asked, as he saw the pale face of Nightwing.
"Iczeria...It can't be."
"What is it?" Hal asked, also getting worried about Dick.
Nightwing took a deep breath and pulled the clothing out of the case. He held it in such a way to show that it was a blue legless leotard with a red skirt attached to it and a red caped hung behind it. On the front of the dress was a red S with a yellow background.
"Iczeria is Supergirl and it looks like Supergirl is alive," Nightwing stated.
"She was killed by the Anti-Monitor," John stated weakly. "She can't be alive."
"Iczeria was turned into an Iczer," Hal mused. "It might be possible for someone to have found Kara's body and did something to turn her into something like Zerib and it revived Kara somehow."
"That leaves the problem of who would she contact first if she was alive," John added.
"We can safely rule out Superman. That leaves the Davners, Zor-El, Allura, and Batgirl as the people who Kara was closest to and are still alive," Nightwing stated. "Zor-El and Allura are on Rokyn, so hopefully we can rule them out."
"That's it? I'd thought as someone as well loved as her would have more friends," John Stewart exclaimed.
"Richard Malverne died of cancer and he was the only other person that I could think of," Nightwing stated. "She constantly moved around in her secret identity and did not have any real close friends because of it."
"Three people. Her adoptive parents and Batgirl," John stated. "If she hasn't contacted any of them, then we have nothing to go on."
"I'll talk to Batgirl. You talk to the Davners, John."
"What do I tell them?" John asked.
"The truth. We suspect that someone got a hold of Supergirl or Linda's body and somehow revived her. We aren't sure, but it is the only theory that fits with what evidence we have. Normally, I would say to mention nothing, but this situation is just to weird to try and keep things quiet."
"Understood."

On Argo City, Barbra Gordon was rubbing her head from the headache of trying to use her newly granted telepathy. She had looked through the broken mind of Iczeria and envisioned the area like large church with broken stained glass windows. Babs' mental self picked up some of the fragments and saw images in them that convinced her of the certainty that Iczeria was indeed Kara Zor-El Supergirl. She had seenthe entire memory of Iczeria waking up and meeting the woman known as Sir Violet and was still staggered by the stunt of bringing Kara back to life, even if it was with a broken memory.
"You shouldn't push yourself so hard for my sake, Barbra. I'm not going away," Iczeria said and handed her a coffee cup filled with some liquid. "You've helped me recover a small bit. I'm sure the rest will come in time."
"It's guilt that drives me. I would tell you why, but I have the feeling that until your memories are restored more fully and you think of yourself as Kara once more, it would just hurt you," Barbra said shaking her head and then muttered, "I'm still not sure why you sought me out first."
Iczeria hesitated and then closed her eyes.
"Memories are part of it, but another part is I guess you would say my new instincts after being rebuilt also played a part. I know quite a bit of what I can do with my powers, but there is something more to them and it has something to do with you," Iczeria replied hesitantly.
"Right. I guess I'll have to find out for the both of us," Barbra stated.
"I had the robots make you some more bodysuits for you. If you want a different type, I can get them to do so."
Barbra waved it off. "No. It's fine for now. You need something stable and if me wearing the Batgirl suit sans cowl and cape makes you more at ease then I can deal with it. I just need to let my father and friends know I'm okay and I'll be away for a while."
