Great Will: Traveller's Times [Episode 159214]

To Julius Cesear, this was a moment of great importance. Obviously this individual could have only come through the providence of the gods, what with his sudden appearance and manner of transport. Only the will of Jupiter could allow for such a fortuitous event to occur.

Of course, given that he was spared from having to continue on with a day of listening to men with very big vocabularies speak for no other apparent reason than to use said vocabularies, he was even more pleased by the sudden appearance of this person from the gods than one might have otherwise thought.

But the person who'd just landed there was rather surprised by the situation as a whole. It had been a jolt to find one's self suddenly shifted in position, but to find that, instead of the expected era, one was in what looked like Rome during its empire days, this was a major shock to take in. With the sudden uproar from the guys in togas, and the seeming pleasure being shown by the groups nearby, this was not quite as easy to adapt to as one might think.

As a result, it took some time to even accept that this was ancient Rome, and that there wasn't exactly going to be an easy way back. After all, if modern human technology didn't have the ability to travel through time, the machinery of this time wouldn't have it either. So, unless there was some sort of magical item, or alien device, the time traveller was not going anywhere.
