Sakaki struggled within the bonds of the black vines, frowning as her strength seemed unable to break free even as Sailor Jupiter.
Tomo Takino had dropped her henshin pen, which made her unable to transform to Sailor Mars. Not that she necessarily would have accomplished much.
Koyomi (Yomi) Mizuhara HAD managed to transform, not that Sailor Uranus could do much as she was unconscious.
Ayumu (Osaka) Kasuga was likewise in her Sailor Neptune uniform, but had managed to drop the Neptune Mirror and it looked as if she had been watching Wedding Peach on it anyway.
Kagura was at a swim competition in Yokohama, so things were not looking good if one counted on Sailor Mercury.
That left Sailor Pluto, Minamo Kurosawa aka "Nyamo" - who was on the sick list. Also left was Sailor Venus, but if Yukari was going to show she probably would have and who could count on her anyway?
Sailor Moon backed up as the dark shadow of the yoma approached. "Who can save you now, little girl?"
"That is, I mean," said Chiyo-chan, looking wildly around.
Ziiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiip! THUNK!
Theme music began playing.
"Tuxedo Kamen!" proclaimed Sailor Moon, turning towards her savior.
"Woof woof," said the masked Great Pyrenees in the cape and top hat. "Woof woof woof woof!"
"You're right, I mustn't give up!" declared Chiyo-chan.
"You actually understood that?" asked the yoma, staring at the dog.
"Woof woof woof!" said Tuxedo Kamen, raising a paw to point dramatically with his cape swirling behind him.
"Ahhhhhhhh," said Sailor Jupiter, her eyes sparkling. So CUTE!
"And how the heck did he throw a ROSE?" asked the yoma, plucking the missile out of her hair. "I'm gonna murdalize you."
"Moon Princess HALATION!" attacked Sailor Moon, having used the time to good effect.
"Sergeant Yomi! The Goa'uld are launching Death Gliders!"
"Where's Tomo?"
Everyone looked around.
Yomi covered her eyes. "Don't tell me that someone let her near the radio equipment after the LAST time."
"I'LL GET YOU!" yelled Inspector Takino of Interpol, brandishing her handcuffs. "YOU CAN'T ESCAPE!"
Sakaki sat in the back of the jeep, as calm as usual, her sword held nearby. Yomi drove, one hand up to keep her hat from flying off in the wind. Not quite as concerned, Chiyo Lupin waved bye-bye in the passenger seat.
"Fast? You've never heard of the Millenium Falcon?" bragged Tomo. "She made the Kessel Run in three parsecs!"
"Excuse me," said Chiyo-chan Skywalker. "A parsec is a unit of distance, not a unit of time."
"Errrr," said Tomo, not sure what to do about this kid. "What a cute kid." pat pat PAT WHACK HIT
GRAB!
A big shaggy dog-man grabbed Tomo's arm and shook his head once.
"That's Tadakichi-san, he's a Cookie Monster," said Chiyo-chan.
"So it's you two, the catboy and the dogboy?" asked Tomo as if she hadn't been interrupted.
"Yes, Maaya will come with us," said Sakaki. "Let's just say we want to avoid any... Imperial entanglements."
Sailor Pluto shook her head. How could she get things back on track?
Checking to make sure no one was looking, she stepped over to the side of the Gates and kicked them.
