"Ranchan!" called out Ukyo Kuonji, following her mental presence to him, even if she didn't know that she had.
"Heya, Ucchan," he replied as he continued to walk on towards the door to the school yard, letting her join him. "What's up?"
"Nothing major for me. But I thought that I might see if I could cheer up your day."
"Oh? Why would you have to do that?"
"Come on, are you telling me that you didn't find yourself feeling put out by the fact that those jerks were eyeing your girl side?"
"That? Sure was. I mean, I'm sure that you know what they were probably thinking. But then, I'm used to it, and I have to remember something."
"Like what?"
"The fact that they're staring at what they know is really another guy. They know the truth, and they still do it."
She giggled at that reminder. "You're right about that. It has to be kind of... discomforting for you though. I mean, I know what it would be like for a 'real' girl...."
"True, but I've dressed up so many times, and keep on changing that I get a little used to the looks. They can even be helpful sometimes."
"Ah, I see."
"Still, I'd rather prefer being a guy, you know."
"I definitely know, and agree with the sentiment."
"I'd thought so."
"Glad to hear that. Where are you going now?"
"Out to have lunch with Hiroshi and Daisuke. Why?"
"Well... you could always have lunch with me. Why don't you?"
"Habit, mostly. Besides, how could I bother you with lunch?"
"Why would you bother me?" Ukyo asked, putting a hand on his shoulder to stop him from walking. "I mean, I am your fiancee, you know."
"True, but you're also a business woman. I figure that it'd be better for you to be able to make the extra money that you'd get from selling okonomiyaki to the other students...."
"You mean, that you'd be more willing to eat with me...."
"'If there was no reason for you to have to bother with doing that cooking during lunch'? Yeah, exactly," the pigtailed boy told her with a slight nod.
"Ranchan...."
"What?"
"You can eat with me any time. I mean, you know me. I always like to talk to my customers when I cook, so why shouldn't I do it with you?"
"Hold on. You want me to bother you when you're cooking?"
"Who'd say it'd be a bother, Ranchan? In fact, it'd be something that I'd really like."
Leaning a bit back from her, Ranma looked over his 'cute' fiancee, and wondered what he should do. By what one could see, she seemed to be almost... 'mannish', but he was well aware of how deceiving that was. Under that boy's uniform, there was a pretty girl with long legs and full breasts, who really did like him. Personally, he had no problems with spending time with her, and felt comfortable with the feelings that were coming off of her.
"I don't see why I can't do that from time to time, though...." he trailed off.
"What?"
"Remember, you aren't the only one who I've got to be worried about. If I eat with you, and Shampoo or Kodachi shows up? Or if my Dad and Mister Tendo find out?"
"That could be a problem, even with just the other students," she muttered in frustration.
"How?"
"Boys usually have lunch with girls when they like them... as in girls with boys. And if they saw us together, they wouldn't leave us alone to eat," the chef replied, sighing heavily. "Which makes for a big hassle when I'd just like to spend some time with you."
"Really?"
"Well, sure! After all, you did have to come to class as a girl. Why did you do that anyway?"
"Simple. Like I told the teacher, I was in the halls and some idiot hit me with water from a bucket. I went to go get water, but by the time that I could, it was time for class...."
"Thought so. That does sound like a hassle," Ukyo stated sympathetically.
"Trust me, it was," he answered with a wry grin, while:
