That meant that she took her time when she got up from her stool and headed over to the boy sitting on the bed. "You're awake then?"
"I am awake...." Kuno murmured, though whether he was agreeing with her, or merely repeating what she said wasn't clear.
"I can see that. Now, you're feeling better after some rest, right?"
"Better. Yes...."
"Okay.... You do seem to be a bit dazed though. Must be still bothered after that hit."
Kuno nodded slowly. "Very bothered...."
"Well then, there is no other choice. You've got to get some more rest."
"More rest?"
"Yes, now lie down, and take a nap. I'm sure that when you wake up again, you'll feel better," she told him, pushing him gently to lie back down.
Not that there was any need to try and do so, as Kuno wasn't about to fight her at the moment. What she was telling him seemed to be pointing him in the right direction, and he couldn't help but agree with her. It was much easier than trying to think it out himself, as he could touch upon his knowledge, and move about, but any real push to do anything was absent. Fortunately, he was in the care of a really dedicated nurse, and she was no doubt concerned for the school's star student, as well she should be. But there was no way that even he would ignore the dictates of a member of the medical establishment.
By all that his muddied mind could tell, it was the only thing that he could do.
Ranma-chan could feel the faint, but growing, flicker of Kuno's mind, and sighed heavily in relief. She didn't particularly care for the guy, but she didn't want to think that her power would do something as permanent as some of the other stuff that she'd done. Then, if she did it to someone who she liked, or was innocent, accidental or not, it would still be something that would be a very horrible thing to have to live with. At least now, she didn't have to worry about such things.
After all, she already had plenty of things to worry about, what with having the powers to begin with, her servitors, and the fact that she'd had to come back to class as a female. Some of it wasn't too bad, but she wasn't exactly pleased with having to stay for the lessons like this. It wasn't fun, and she was finding that it wasn't exactly helping her when she didn't want to be in class in the first place.
"Mister Saotome?" the teacher said, not looking away from his board.
The sudden comment surprised the pigtailed redhead. "Yeah?"
"You can leave the room and go get hot water to change back."
"I can?"
"Yes, you can. Do it now, if you would."
"Uh, sure thing...."
"Good," replied the teacher as he watched her hurry out, much to the disappointment to the boys who'd been enjoying her appearance, especially during the sigh.
Most of the girls had noticed the boys, and hadn't been pleased by that attention, with Ukyo and Akane glaring at the offending males, while:
