Love Hina After: Frustrated Female.... [Episode 159470]

by Kender

It took Naru only a moment to fully comprehend what sort of situation that she was in. Not only had her opportunity to make love to her husband, which she was already nervous about, had been interrupted, but her friends were there watching her in a close position with him. And since they had done so by literally breaking down the wall, there was only one thing that she could think to do.

"HOW COULD YOU GUYS DO THIS?!" she yelled.

"Well, it's not like we intended this...." Kitsune murmured. "We sort of... fell into it."

"But you shouldn't be trying to find out what we're doing in the first place!"

"I was just sort of curious...." Shinobu whispered, twiddling her fingers together in a nervous gesture.

"That doesn't matter! This is not meant to be a public spectacle!"

Motoko nodded. "We would not have meant it as such...."

"Then there is one way for you all to fix it. Get out!"

"You want us to leave?" Mutsumi asked.

"Yes!" Naru snapped, and all but leapt off of the floor, using both her hands and feet to shove her way up. "GO!"

"Seems like you're serious."

"Get out! Get out! GET OUT!" the new Mrs. Urashima screamed, grabbing any items that she could to fling them at the girls who'd stumbled into her room.

That led to Ema's eyes widening as she saw the others spinning about and running towards her. As there was a good number of objects flying after them, it was clear that they had plenty of reasons to be going. So, Kaolla bounced, Motoko ran, a grinning Mitsune crawled, Shinobu stumbled and Mutsumi walked really quick all towards her, which made for a dangerous situation. Faced with objects flung in her direction, and a group of girls about to stampede right over her, she fairly fell over herself to get out of the way, finding that the other tenants were following right after her, as they certainly didn't want to get hit by flying books, boxes, brushes, and other objects from the room that they were bolting from.

And there was only one vocal response that she could give in this instance. "WAAAAAAAAH!"

Stepping out from her room, Naru continued to toss the heaviest objects that she could get her hands on at the fleeing girls until she ran out of breath, and easily available items. Then she just breathed hard and glared in their general direction as they got out of tossing range.

Turning about, she marched back into her room, forcing herself to calm down and handle the situation rationally. That was an important thing to do if one was going to salvage anything good from a problem situation, and as the wife of the landlord she was going to have to do that from time to time. Realizing that reminded her that she was going to have to turn her attention to her husband, and see what she could do to make the situation better for him.

"Keitaro, I...." Naru began... and then saw that her spouse was now laying up against the wall, obviously after being tossed there by her attempt to get to her feet as quickly as possible. Their bedding was on top of him, with stuff from the shelves having fallen on top of him. Rushing over to his side, she knelt down and tried to see if he was hurt, but the only thing that she could see was that he was dazed and groaning.

It was obvious by his condition that the only 'sleeping together' that they'd do would be curled up against each other in slumber, which made her give a disappointed sigh at the lost opportunity.

From her perch on the roof, Kanako sighed. It sounded like things were going be going on as they usually did, but then, that seemed to be a good situation for all those inside. They might have been annoyed, frustrated, and troubled from time to time, but they seemed to like how things were.

She did have to admit that she would have liked to see what morning would bring as she leapt away.

The breakfast table was a fairly quiet one at the moment for one simple reason. Most of them had bandages over what looked like small impacts on various parts of them. Now that wasn't the reason, as they were able to go about the business of eating without feeling much in the way of aches.

Rather, it was the way that Naru was glowering as she ate that acted as such a pall over the meal. Her chopsticks stabbed into the food, and every bite that she took was like she was going to use it to take someone's head off. Oddly enough, the only one that she spared any compassion for was her husband, but she had her own reasons for that.

"Man.... Is this anyway to start the day?" Mitsune complained, stretching out her arms. "I mean, we're supposed to be excited to start up a new morning...."

That got her an immediate glare from her newlywed friend.

"I'll be quiet now...."

"Good," Naru muttered around her chopsticks.

"Now, Naru, don't you think that this is a bit much?" Keitaro asked, sounding like he was trying to be conciliatory. "I'm sure that they didn't mean to do it...."

"Sure, they didn't mean to, but they did so anyway. I mean, they burst on us when we were going to bed, just when we were going to want privacy the most!"

"But they...."

"'But' nothing! They were being nosy, perverted, troublesome, and disturbing. Not to mention that they had destroyed one of the walls to our room. And they went and pulled poor Ema into it too!"

Shinobu, Motoko and Mitsune's heads hung lower and lower with each sentence, with a wince coming up at the end.

Keitaro gave her a sympathetic look. "What I was going to say was that we can put the mess behind us. You don't want to keep on dwelling on it, do you?"

"Well, no...." his wife agreed.

"Then let's ignore those problems. We can fix the wall, and I'm sure that they won't do that again. Will you guys?"

The other girls nodded in confirmation of his words.

"See? Why don't we just look forward to what's going to come up today?"

"What is coming up for you today?" Ema asked.

"Me? I've got to go into the university for a little meeting. Apparently they're going to give me a teaching assistant."

"Oooh," Kitsune put in. "You're going to get a little helper!"

"You could put it that way. The administration thinks that it'd be best if I had help, since I'm a beginning teacher and all. Seta even said that he'd see if he could help."

"Seta did?"

"Uh-huh. He thought that he could see about helping out in that regard."

"Should be interesting," Motoko commented.

"Oh?"

"You were Seta's assistant, and now you will get your own. Though I do know that having help when you teach can be very useful."

"I certainly hope so," he told her, while:
