Cologne took out one of the rags that she used for clean up around the restaurant. It was clean enough for her to use to wipe the nose of her son-in-law. The white rag soon became red from the excess blood. "I take it that you are not use to the idea of dating women who might enjoy the touch of an attractive female." Cologne said with a smile.
She remembered her younger years, having lovers both male and female. 'The fact that I had a body like Shampoo when I was younger didn't hurt.' Cologne thought, adding, 'But Ranma wouldn't be ready for this news. Especially since he will just picture me as I am now. Not as the attractive woman that I was.'
"Who's what?" Ranma said, holding the cloth to his noise. Still confused and starting to get a twitch above his right eye. Cologne could see the sweat on his brow.
"Akane and Kasumi are purely straight as far as anyone can tell. Kodachi is mostly straight, but there is hits of the occasional bisexual tendency. Ukyo, Shampoo, Nabiki and Hinako are all bisexual to some degree. You are going to have to learn this if you are going to live in this world." Cologne said as she looked at Ranma.
"Do you think that there might be a chance that everything might go back to the way it was?" Ranma said, nervously.
"With the gods in play, nothing is for sure. But do you really want to have things go back to the way it was. With all of the girls fighting with each other. With everybody upset and unhappy. It might be strange, but everybody is happy in their own way with this new arrangement. They are closer than they have ever been. This might not be a bad thing." Cologne said, trying to judge the reaction of the young man before her.
Ranma stopped for a minute and thought about it. The women did seem to enjoy things as far as he could see from the single day that he had experienced. If everyone else was happy with their lives, what did it matter that he didn't know what was going on. But that brought up another question. "But what am I going to do if they ask about anything that has happened in that last few months. My memories don't exactly match up with theirs."
"We may have to tell them a little white lie. Like something causing you to loose your memories of the last few months. Which isn't exact true, but not exactly a lie. We just have to figure out a believable excuse to why you have lost it. However, given the things that have occurred in this neighbourhood and to these people, it might not be that hard." Cologne told him as she worked to come up with the perfect excuse to why he had lost his memory.
It took a few minutes of discussion before they agreed on the idea they would tell everybody. But that got Ranma thinking more about the situation. "So what happened to everybody else? My parents, Mr. Tendo and the rivals?"
"Well, your parents moved back into the Saotome home with Soun following them there to give you and the girls more time with each other. Mousse is still working here, trying to break you and Shampoo up. I have sent him on an errand far away for the moment, while I try to figure out how to get rid of him. Ryoga seemed to be developing a relationship with a local pig farmer who specializes in Sumo pigs." Cologne replied as she pulled out a cup of tea from what looked like nowhere.
"Tatewaki was willing to let you marry his sister, till he learnt that you would be marrying six other women, including Akane. He has now devoted his life to seducing your wives away from you, with the exception of Kodachi and the interesting inclusion of the Pig-tailed Girl. He has also swore an oath that he would defeat you. Fortunately, he couldn't pass the test that was needed with the paperwork of having multiple wives, so he isn't much of a problem." Cologne smiled, "Kodachi's father seem to accept you as her husband to some degree. Even giving the both of you her share of Kuno Industries. But his is still trying to shave all of your hair off."
"I think those are most of the old rivals that you have faced daily. What else do you want to know?" Cologne asked.
