**Option A
Shinn Asuka ran, his sister and his parents running ahead. The nature park they were running through had suddenly and nightmarishly turned into a warzone, with Mobile Suits circling each other in the grey and blue sky, like birds of prey...
"Aaah...Mayu's mobile!"
His sister shrieked as her pink mobile phone went hurtling down the slope. Damn, damn, it would probably be faster to just get the damn thing but -
"Leave the mobile, I'll get you another one, promise! Now run!"
Mayu struggled for a moment, but whimpered and began to run again. Not a moment too soon, as a stray blast nearly decimated where the Asuka family had been just a moment before. Shinn, Mayu and their parents all ended up on the grassy knoll, shaking their heads and trying to get the ringing out of their ears. Mayu's ankle was twisted, as was Shinn's wrist.
The Asuka family never went to PLANT at all, in the end. They stayed right in Orb, and Shinn and Mayu, like many Coordinator children, eventually went to Uni quite a bit earlier then the majority of their Natural counterparts.
War eventually did come again, but that is another story.
**Option B

The Asuka family eventually went to PLANT as planned, and Shinn joined ZAFT, despite the misgivings of his parents. They put their foot down with Mayu trying to join, however. She could when she was fully of age, not before.
War eventually did come again, but that is another story.
**Option C

Shinn saw his sister clambering down the slope after him, and would have shrieked if there was any time for that kind of thing. Idiot is thee, little sister mine...
The blast threw both of them hurtling down the knoll, into a brook. Mayu's ankle was twisted, as was Shinn's wrist.
Of their parents, there was barely enough left to run a genescan afterwards. What they buried under their graves eventually was mostly dirt, though not all.
Shinn and Mayu never did go to PLANT at all. and Shinn and Mayu, like many Coordinator children, eventually went to Uni quite a bit earlier then the majority of their Natural counterparts, on a Scholorship set up especially for children orphaned in the War. Though they could have gone to Uni at least even without the Scholorship, as their parents had left them a fair amount of money, as it turned out.
War eventually did come again, but that is another story.
**Option D

Shinn and Mayu eventually did go to PLANT, and both of them ended up joining ZAFT, though Shinn would have prefered his sister didn't. He did make a minor name for himself as the most over-protective big brother in the ZAFT Academy in his year.

**Option E

The blast decimated the entire Asuka family. Some of their relatives did make them graves, eventually. And planted flowers.
War eventually did come again, but none of them were there to see it happen.
