"Ahhh, Remus..."
Alright, so Albus Dumbledore was awake. That was good.
It would have been even better if he'd looked somewhat less like death warmed over, though, in his professional opinion.
Hazama Kuroo, also known as Dr Black Jack as well as by other names and titles, sighed.
Well, it was his job, such as it was, to do something about that certain situation, now.
"...Headmaster, Headmaster, Snape bloody - "
"Please don't blame Severus for that, Remus. It was...necessary."
Oh, hell, don't just jump all over the bed now, you idiot werewolf -
"Oh, Remus, come now."
Hazama blinked, then. Drat, the Headmaster wasn't trying too -
However, Severus Snape beat him to the punch.
"...Lupin! Albus, put that wand down now, do you have any idea... How dare you make him use his magic you idiot canine!"
Snape's screetchmeister credentials were unlikely to be challenged soon.
"Now, now, Snape, calm down"
Hazama mumbled, cleaning Remus Lupin off with a wave of his hand, as his wand was miniaturized and strapped to his forearm, as usual.
"Like hell I will. If you want to act like a dog - "
Hazama Kuroo stared. Where a somewhat shabby-looking - if not wet and bedraggled any more - Remus Lupin had been a moment before, sat a rather shabby-looking and very annoyed looking wolf-hound. He hadn't quite realized that Snape had become that proficient at wandless magic.
" - Severus!"
"It'll wear off in a hour, Albus."
"...Still, Severus."
Albus Dumbledore sighed. Really, the two of them...
"Come here, Remus."
Hazama was discracted by a whine coming behind him, then. Oops. Pinoko and...
"I think Ralgo wants to be scritched too, Chen-chei..."
Indeed, the yellow mutt was giving him very eloquent looks, for a dog.
"...Can't you scritch him yourself?"
"I couldda, but Chen-chei gives the best scritchies, Pinoko thinks..."
Hazama Kuroo looked once more at the spectacle of the (former) Headmaster of Hogwarts scritching a werewolf behind the ears and around the ruff with his good hand, and sighed. Well, it wasn't even near the full moon, and Remus Lupin was a wolf-hound at the moment, but still.
"...Come away from there, you."
"Does he often do that?"
"...Being a mutt seems to stabilize him somewhat. If you must know."
"I'd rather I did, Snape. If I'm going to be part of this merry ... endeavor, that is."
"...Hmph."
