The poor thing never really liked hot-water; whenever she bathed it, she'd either have to use cold water or have Ranma do it.
It never occurred to her what an aversion of Hot Water could mean, really.
She sighed as the hot water relaxed her body and she sank under the water to warm up her face. When she came back up, P-chan was gone, and the door was ajar.
"Huh. I wonder where he went," She sighed as the water dripped off of her face. She got out of the furo and walked out of the room, got dressed, and left. It was barely 7:34, She had time to do something. She went downstairs to join whoever was watching the Television. Nabiki noticed her and left the room to go take her own bath. Ranma greedily grabbed the remote from where she'd been sitting and changed the channel to some anime show. They both watched it silently until it was over.
Ranma wasn't interested in the show after that, and left the TV to the guest room to help his father and mother with the last minute stuff. He was going to go back with them for the night and come back in the morning, either to get his own stuff, or stay a little while longer.
She secretly hoped he was staying.
Akane flipped through the channels, and when she realized that nothing was on, she got up and turned the TV off, then left the room. She walked out to the dojo, then sighed. She really didn't want to take another bath, but there wasn't much else to do...Well, there was that adventure novel that she was reading; it was about some boy who found a dragon and they became partners. She decided to do that after just sitting around in the dojo, before she noticed something.
"Hey, isn't that Ryoga's pack?" She approached it and picked it up, dropping a scroll off of it. When she picked it up, she noticed the title of the scroll and dropped the bag. "This is..." She trailed off. She opened it and scanned it, as an astonished look came to her face.
She decided that novel could wait for now.
The next day, Ranma woke up on a futon. He groaned; Today was Monday, and a school day. He got up and put on his clothes, then left the room that was going to be his, and walked into the kitchen. It already had the necessities like a refrigerator, a dishwasher, and a stove. Genma was testing the sink as his wife cooked breakfast over the stove.
"Did they have to tear the whole place down?" He grumbled. Apparently, as part of the rebuilding process, the house needed to be completely demolished...
Nodoka set some bacon on the pan as she let the eggs cool down. Ranma raised an eyebrow at that - his mother was cooking a western style breakfast? Ahh, well, it wasn't like he didn't like it. When she was done, Ranma noticed the time and hurriedly grabbed what he could for breakfast, before scarfing it down and running out the door. "Thanks mom! I gotta go get Akane!" He yelled back as he took off into the sky. Neither Genma nor Nodoka noticed him flying, because they were both busy with the food. They both sighed. "Such devotion," Nodoka was lost in a fantasy of grandchildren, while Genma saw himself, his wife, and Tendo relaxing in comfortable retirement.
Ranma flew at full speed to the Tendo dojo and was there in under a minute. He landed in front of the Dojo and waited as the door opened and Akane approached him from inside. She frowned at him as she ran by. "You're late," She scowled at him as he rolled his eyes and followed her. they both ran a familiar route to Furinkan when out of nowhere, a ladleful of water poured down on Ranma. She growled as she had to slow down or risk hurting herself. Akane looked back at her and snickered. Ranma stopped running, and jumped into the air. When she didn't come down, Akane joined her. Ranma almost fell out of the air in shock and looked at her. "Akane!? How did you...Are you the one that took the scroll, then?" She asked indignantly.
"What are you talking about? Ryoga let me borrow that scroll!" She half lied. Ryoga wouldn't have stopped her, would he?
"That dumb pig," Ranma mumbled. "I knew he had it. I just knew it. Well, now he'll be getting lost ten times faster and when he finally finds me," She smiled in anticipation of a real fight, in the air. They both flew towards Furinkan, intent on passing Kuno into school. They both looked down and saw him standing there, obviously waiting for them. They both flew into the building and snickered at the astonished looks of their classmates. The surprised died down after a few minutes, in all except one person. Nabiki watched her sister and possible future brother in law as they flew into the school building through one of the windows, and made a mental note to ask them where they learned that.
Kuno finally noticed the girls in the air and a look came upon his face. He did not seem surprised at all. "At last, the nature of my goddesses is revealed! I must see them at once!" He proclaimed before running into the school building. When he finally made it to them, they were talking to some friends and he ran to them with glee. "It is as have I said! Yonder Pig-Tailed Goddess and the Tigress, Tendo Akane are of divine decent! I beseech you, fair and graceful visages of beauty, I only ask that you-" They both uppercut him out the window they came in and sat down as class started.
