Mismatched Eyes: Magical Teacher Green Onion [Episode 161117]

by Master Roy

Asuna ran slower than she could have been, mainly because she wanted her friend, Konoka to keep up with her. "Konoka, we're gonna be late! Did you really have to wait until then to wake up?" The girl cried in panic as she looked at her watch. "And you know we're supposed to welcome that new teacher today!"

Konoka smiled apologetically as she tried to keep up with her friend by roller-skating along the pavement. "I'm sorry, Asuna-san!" She was sincere in her apologies. "But I really needed to sleep in!" she said. Asuna rolled her eyes at the girl as the two rapidly approached the office building. She slowed to a stop as she finally reached the school and opened the door. The two rushed to "Old Konoe's Office" as Asuna called it, both wondering who the new teacher was. When they got there, Konoka almost sprawled out on the ground, panting, while Asuna merely stood there looking as if she had just walked the distance from her bed to her refrigerator. She shook her head, Tsking at Konoka and allowed the girl to lean on her for support. "Okay, Konoe-san," Asuna said. "We made it. Where's the new guy?" she asked. Konoe's chair swiveled around to face the two girls. He looked amused and was twiddling his thumbs.

"You're late," he notified them. "You didn't even get to see Takamichi off," he smiled at Asuna when the shock overcame her.

"Whaaaaat?! You mean he's gone?" She asked with huge tears about to drop out of her eyes.

"Yes, yes, he is, it's really too bad. You had a chance with him and now he's gone," Konoe said. He offered the girl a Kleenex so she could wipe her eyes. "Well, the new teacher is already in his class, so you should go to class," He said. He nervously glanced down to his desk while neither girl was looking and smiled back at the two girls when they finally looked back up at him.

"Yes, sir," Asuna said, turning around with Konoka. She hefted one of the still recovering girl's arms around her shoulders and slowly walked out of the office, shutting the door behind her.

"You can come out now, Takamichi," Konoe said.

A middle aged man burst out of a closet, panting. "That was close." he said. "That girl..." he started, shaking his head.

"She's getting older, Takahata-kun. You have to realize she's going to start noticing things,"

"Yeah but...me?! I'm more than twice her age!" He said, annoyed. "I almost lost my job because of her," he said. Konoe snickered. "Not one word! Please," he said, obviously trying to forget something and muttering about crazed, pubertal nymphomaniacs.

"I'm going to miss Takahata-sensei," Asuna said, sadly as the two walked down the hall to class.

"I can't understand why you're so into him," Konoka said. "He's so old."

"He understands me," Asuna said. And he and I grew up in the same time, She thought. Mentally, I died older than most of the boys I know now, It's been 14 years since then,

"That's what you say all the time," Konoka sighed, exasperated. It was something the other girls were all starting to talk about, and had most of the male staff on edge, especially one Takamichi Takahata.

The girl reached the class and opened the door. When they walked in, they noticed that the class was still going about its morning routine. The teacher hadn't shown up yet. They both sighed as they took their seats to wait for the teacher's arrival.

Not minutes later, Asuna tensed. There's a magical Aura right outside the door, Asuna looked towards the door just as it started opening.
