In the rebuilding of the planet after the Great Ice, - and mindful of the problems that occured in the past, - Usagi Tsukino, coming into her reign of Neo-Queen Serenity I, had decided that the Black Moon Family had a valid complaint. To that end, she had set them up with a city to call their own.
Crystal Moscow.
This went a long way to alleviate the situation that had so vexed her when she was just a teen. Why would she have done something so... stupid. These were people who could have helped her, dammit!
So, in a fit of impishness, she had commissioned a city of smoky crystal designed, built and inhabited for those who might not agree totally with her ideas. In this city, she placed the Dark Moon Family as leaders.
For the most part, it worked.
True, this tweaked her plans slightly. With two main cities, there immediately was an outcry that other areas get their own 'Crystal Capitols'. She relented, allowing that each region could create their own.
She had to admit, Crystal Monaco _was_ a fun vacation spot. Minako had a good eye for 'party towns'.
And she enjoyed the cuisine at Crystal Paris. Yum.
But, at the moment, she was working on the problem at hand. Staring at the life-sized hologram of the regent of the Dark Regions, she pasted a look of peace on her face. "Prince Dimando, I thank you for taking the time to speak with me."
The smartly-dressed man gave her a small bow. "What may this subeject help you with?" he stated in a jovial tone.
Serenity sighed. "It is about my daughter," she admitted, as the barest hint of a frown floated across her features. "I fear that her education might suffer."
The white-haired man blinked. "How so, milady?" he asked.
She tilted her head, hiding her face slightly. "I worry that the enviornment here in the capitol might stunt her development of a mature experience of life."
The head of the Dark Regions stroked his chin thoughtfully. "Ahhh," he noised after a moment. "I see. You wish that she isn't so sheltered that she develope into a spoiled child." The image moved it's feet, indicating that the person on the other end was pacing back-and-forth in his own Audience Chamber. "Perhaps we should work something out, so that the Little Rabbit can learn."
The Neo-Queen lifted her head and gave the regent a benevolent smile. "That would be acceptable."
The battered and beleaugered Senshi watched the conversation from the frame of the door.
Ami tapped frantically at her hand-held computer, ignoring the occasional squack and sputter it gave. "I predict that if Usagi can pull this off we'll get at least...," she glared at the display, then gave her device a sharp rap with her other hand, eliciting a low 'squeeee' from it, ",... twenty to thirty months of peace."
Minako dropped to her knees, producing a Star of David and Torah from nowhere and draping a prayer shawl around her shoulders.
Makoto chimed in. "If she can pull this off, I make enough pastries for her that she'll end up twice the person she is now."
The others simply clapped twice and bowed their heads, ignoring the babble of Minako's Yiddish in the background.
Dimando walked from the Audience Chamber in Crystal Moscow, almost running into Esmeralda. The redhead gave her leader a short bow, a smirk creasing her face. "So, what did her Grace have to say?" she asked.
The young-seeming man had a perplexed look on her face. "It appears that we're to take over the Little Rabbit's training."
At the woman's facefault, he simply nodded. "My thoughts, exactly," he admitted.
