When she'd landed, she'd first been surprised that she'd wound up in a forest, which was kind of odd since she had never really been in one before. Going from Tokyo, to the Time Gate, to a streak across the sky, to this was all fairly odd for her, and she was finding it to be rather... worrisome, since she'd been immediately able to tell that none of her friends were around.
Getting up, she looked around for something that would identify where she was, and found nothing, other than the fact that the dirt from the ground was clinging to her skirt. As she brushed the dust off of the fabric, she began to realize that there was a problem there. First off, she hadn't been wearing a full length skirt to begin with, and having her clothes change was kind of odd. Looking down at herself, she confirmed that, yes, she was wearing a variation of her 'Moon Princess' dress, though this one had a more demure neckline, and an odd hat with a veil to go with it. But that was kind of over shadowed by something rather important.
She had fur.
Her arm, from the tips of her fingers, all the way up as much as she could see during her peek up her sleeve was covered in downy white fur. The same fur covered her body, and her face, by what she could feel. Added to that was the fact that she had a muzzle now, and a tail.
Dazed by the revelations, she stumbled for a bit until she reached some water that was deep enough to let her see her reflection. Yet, that didn't do anything but confirm what she already knew. Reaching up, she stroked her long ears, and simply stared at the sight of herself. "I'm a rabbit...."
"Well, hello there, pretty lady!" called out a cocky voice.
Turning to face the speaker, she simply stared as she something with a big furry body and a little head that had the vague shape of a wolf came at her.
"Lookie what we've got here. I came up to see what all the ruckus was, and I wind up finding what seems to be a lost noblewoman."
"Wha...."
"Why don't you come with me? The Prince will certainly want to see someone like you," he told her, and sneered as he reached for her.
With something rather ugly and misshapen coming after her, Usagi did the first thing that she could think of. She yelped, and instinctually kicked the creature before running away from it. "Ahh! Monster!"
As he was hopping around a bit too much to follow her, he let her go.
Had Usagi known that, she would have been rather pleased, but she was a little too busy running away to care. There had been a scary blubber belly out to get her, and she didn't want to let it get the chance. At the moment, she didn't know if she had her powers or not, but instinct was telling her that it would be a bad thing to let him get her.
It was only when she tripped over a tree root that she stopped. Of course, it was more like an inelegant fall, but it did cease her forward motion. As it also made her face impact with the ground, she wasn't too pleased with that manner of stopping anyway. "Owie...."
"Here then, let me help you up," commented a different voice than the other one.
Cautiously, she raised her head up just enough to get a peek at this newest being.
"Trust me," he told her. "I'm not about to do anything like the Sheriff would."
"'Sheriff'?"
"The one that you just kicked. I'd have to say that you did a really good job on that."
"You're a fox...." she trailed off.
"If you say so."
"No, I mean.... Who are you?"
"Me? I am Robin Hood," he told her, taking off his green cap and bowing toward her. "It is ever so nice to meet you."
For a long moment, Usagi took in the fact that she was looking at a fox version of Robin Hood, while:
