The image of Sailor Pluto nodded, knowing that this was all a bit much to dump on anyone at once.
"So, you're saying something was going on and I tried to make a wish - only cause it wasn't worded too well and the wish-granter was an idiot - I got stuck with the whole robo-gal thing? It wasn't as I remember it - that I got involved in trying to stop this Yakuza idiot and his pet mad scientist and ended up taking these gals in. They weren't supposed to be hangin' around me, they were gonna actually end up in a loose marriage arrangement with Tsukino-san?"
"Yes, that's right," agreed Sailor Pluto.
Ranma scratched his head. "This is weird, cause I remember ya being one of my new friends and one of them robo-gals. What you think, Ami?"
"While it is possible this is a plot begun by enemies or forces wishing to seize us for their own purposes, my scans reveal a 99.4% power signal match with the Garnet Orb," said Ami, datafields dancing across her blue eyes. "It is therefore likely, based on available data, that this is indeed Sailor Pluto from either an alternate future or alternate timeline."
"Huh," said Ranma. "I didn't completely follow that, but apparently Ami thinks you're real. Ami, I want you to go over details with Pluto-san. Find out what could go wrong and see what ya can do about keeping those things from happening."
"There is already a problem with her plan, dear," said Ami affectionately.
"'Dear'?" asked Pluto's hologram, looking a bit shocked.
"While he has repeatedly requested I call him Ranma, and he is extremely uncomfortable with being addressed as 'Master'," said Ami, "I find it curiously pleasing to use certain terms of affection."
Sailor Pluto's red eyes stared into Ami's blue eyes, seeing the flit of datafields passing across the surface, and wondered what part of her plan wasn't viable. "So what 'problem' is there with my plan?"
Ami sat back, going into a thoughtful expression. "That problem being that -"
