A lie. His whole life was nothing but a lie. Now, he stood before the object that had apparently brought him to Earth. To Earth. He still couldn't believe it. -That might explained why I've been developing all these powers. They might be normal for my kind.- He thought. The object, a ship big enough for an infant, had been badly damaged when it had landed near his adopted parents home.
The onboard computer had stayed online long enough to activate a recording that told of his home planet, Krypton, in the last stages of going critical, of how his birth father sent him to earth to escape the planets fate. Towards the end of the recording, it began to glitch but a name was understood. Ran-El.
Now, he stood before his ship with the repaired Nan-Ban mirror about to do something he knew was stupid. He just wanted to see what his birth parents looked liked. Closing his eyes, he shed a tear.
"Ranma? Your mother said you were in here." He spun around only to trip over a loose floor board into Kasumi. Seconds later the room was empty, save for a shattered mirror.
